Your point:

I said that she was doing valuable things nationally(except the McCain stuff), I didn't say she was trying to gain experience.

But since you brought up the subject of gaining experience, what valuable experience other than checking off some box on a resume do you think she is missing right now because she isn't in Alaska being a governor?

And since you stated in another response Since you brought the subject up, Sarah is gaining more experience for a possible presidential run since she left her job as governor.

Do tell what executive experience is she building right now and compare it to what she did in Alaska?

Tell what she did in Alaska that leads you to make the comparison that she is gaining more exexcutive experience now...

The floor is yours because you made the assertion. Because I know what took place in Alaska, I find your comment interesting...

It's yours to reply. Not mine.

Agreed. She is a populist not a conservative. I’m okay with that except when she does something this... traitorous to what the TEA Party stands for. For goodness sakes, McCain was against the TAX CUTS. I just can’t stomach watching her stump for her “maverick” in such glowing terms. It literally makes me nauseous.

Let’s hope it does have the same outcome and McCain loses.

I said "presidential experience", not "executive experience". Why did you change what I said?

And in my previous posts on this thread I gave a list of things she is doing that would help her if she were to run for president, such as numerous speeches, tea party rallies, candidate rallies, candidate endorsements, editorials, interviews, daily national briefings, network news commentary, online tweets, book tour, non political public appearances...

Now it's your turn. As I've asked you several times now, and as I asked another poster, list the specific things that she could be doing as governor, that she hasn't done before and that would be valuable for a presidential run?

I'll look for your answer.

Oh wait she goes to a McCain rally and tears him up? I don’t think that would be very wise! What would have been wise is tell McCain jee I can’t I have a prior agreement!

Like I said previously, compare the two; what she did in Alaska to what she is doing now.

You made the distinction and the assertion, back it up with specifics.

You haven’t stated what she has done in Alaska to prove your point.

Good point. I am grateful to her for helping to remove Reid. I also admit to not knowing enough about Hayworth to have an opinion. I assumed he had to better than McCain.

I agree with you as well that Sarah made the right call when she left the governorship. I do grow very tired of hearing the “quitter” pap. She may not be the conservative that I would like her to be, but a quitter she is not.

All these people posting negative tonight will be voting (hopefully early and often) for Sarah in Nov 2012. Count on it.

That may well be... only if someone better does not come along. I will vote for Sarah against McCain, Romney, or Huckabee; but if a better candidate than she comes along, I will not be loyal to Sarah for loyalty's sake. The country is in too big of a mess for such thinking.

Like I said previously, compare the two; what she did in Alaska to what she is doing now.

What?

I gave you a full list of what she is doing now on the national scene that would give here added experience and qualifications for a presidential run.

A list of what she "did" in Alaska isn't relevant to the point, because it isn't a list of additional experience she could be gaining.

What is missing is a list of things that she would have been doing in Alaska as governor, that she has not already done there.

My point is there is little to no additional presidential experience she could have gained as governor of Alaska

What she is doing now on the national scene is more valuable.

So it's now up to you and I have now asked this numerous times, document the specific things she would have been doing in Alaska as governor that would have increase her qualifications for a presidential run?

"I have no problem with Palin being loyal to McCain. I know she is sincere and truly respects and supports him. She is being honest and does not care if others do not agree with her. I think everyone should respect her for that. "

I do have a BIG problem with her support of McCain. I understand that she owes him, or owed him. She has endorsed him. My problem with the her campaigning for him is this: She can support him, or she can SUPPORT him. The second option in my opinion is over the top. Furthermore, if she has future political ambitions, I think that her excessive support of the failed rino has almost completely killed her chances, as well as broadcast to the world her political naivete.

But her star power is really a thing to behold, and she might just blow right by this......

I’ll reply. You can’t really expect logic and consistency on this forum. As the Savage-apers like to say, it’s all about feeeeeeelings. Besides the battle that broke out in #197 was so entertaining, your logical post was overlooked. I did appreciate your summation just above, however.

Thanks.

I guess my feeling is now that "vox populi" here has been heard from and Sarah Palin has been for all intents and purposes eliminated as the 2012 candidate, who'll be the next prospect in the barrel.

I believe it's safe to say that between now and 2012, we'll have successfully completed the conservative circular firing squad and Obama will slither back into the White House with a big smile on his face.

Hayward is the true conservative in that race . Palin should be ashamed of herself acting as a torch barer of conservatism & backing McCain .We won’t be duped by these people.

A Conservative and Liberal went down to the beach to catch crab. At low tide both took their buckets and went about their business. When they met up again the Liberal had no crab but the Conservative’s bucket was full. The liberal asked the Conservative how he managed to catch so many crab. The answer was that the Conservative only caught Conservative crab and when one of the Conservative crab tried to escape the bucket the other crab would pull it back down. This story explains what is happening to Palin by you holier than thou conservatives, and God help me I hope you are the minority, because Palin is probably the only one on the horizon who can pull are asses out of the fire in 2012.

Oh, STFU, Sarah. I used to respect, admire and like you a great deal. Now you suck. Go back to Alaska.

She lost another 18 months of executive experience - probably more, since she would most likely have been re-elected. That executive experience is invaluable for running for prez and for governing as America’s prez/CEO and CiC.

Agree 100%. Blind faith is foolish, and Sarah’s cheerleading for Juan is a breach of conservative credentials, period.
