I firmly agree that the party was the RINO party back then. They were amazed that Reagan came in and upset their apple cart. His mistake was picking their fair haired nimrod as the V.P. And I hate to say that, because on paper Bush had an employment record that should have given him an incredible insight as to how things get done and why.
Sadly, he was a globalist to the bone. It was in his core.
I want someone who actually gives a damn about our nation, and it’s friends, and won’t do a single thing that could possible weaken our nation.
In fact, it’s time for some massive push-back. People will wonder about this one, but I’d actually pay people to move out of the U.S. if they aren’t happy with our system here.
I agree.
That's all she had to do. To say she had to "stab him in the back" or "endorse the other guy" is a fraudulent argument. All she had to do was abstain from the race.
I would respect her is she stood on her principles instead of political pay back.
A “cough due to cold” would have been appropriate for today.
You said it!
LOL
Yes, I forgot that...I will be greatly disappointed if McCain makes it thru again. He is not a Rebublican.
I mean he has absolutely no elected or executive or business experience and he wasn’t executive level in the military. I don’t mean to take anything from him and I hope he’s seated in Congress in 2011. From there he’ll have a great platform to demonstrate and hone his powers on a national political level.
Obama of course was a US Senator and Rubio was Speaker of the FL House. Again, no disrespect for Col. West.
I’ve admired Sarah and John as they’ve recently opposed Hussein’s health care bill. In other words, they are doing something about it.
Interesting observation, thanks. Also, McCain’s daughter claims she’s going to dish on Palin with her book coming out in August. What do you think JD’s chances are? The primary isn’t until August, is it? (If it is and Meghan really dumps on Sarah I could see that backfiring for John.)
All she had to do was abstain from the race.
Would have spoke volumes, IMHO. As much as I like Sarah, I'd have to pass on this gig.
Some would call it loyalty. I wish she didn't commit to campaigning for that “Maverick” McCain but she showed she's loyal even if it costs her with some.
Off topic but I pity the fool that has to run against her. What I saw today was the Sarah Palin on the campaign trail that is just as polished as she was by the end of her Vice Presidential run. That's not good news for her opponents whoever they maybe.
Go Sarah and Go JD!
I agree. Did everyone just see JD on Neil Cavuto? He sounded pretty good. Just wish they would have given him more time instead of squeezing him in at the end.
Sarah Palin is only being loyal to her old friend McLame.
LOL....nice one you Palin supporters.
John Thune/Eric Cantor 2012
(”Send the maverick back to the United States Senate!”)
I would rather rip out my own eyes with a spork than see John McCain returned to the Senate.
Could you imagine having to go and make nice with people like that? NEVER!!!!
Everyone deserves one mulligan.
As one poster over at HA said, “If Palin endorses Charlie Crist I’ll go apes*it”
But if she doesn’t endorse another RINO let it go.
By the way where is your criticism of Romney? He also endorsed McCain.
Those are the illegal aliens wanting amnesty.
Seems to me that Gov.Palin has no plans for a run at the white house.
