We need to come up with something that summarize Obamacare and the damage it has done to the land of the free.
Comparing Obamacare to slavery seems completely legitimate and on-target, to me.
Am I wrong?
I like it.
Republicans are still on TV saying they disagree with the CBO score, while dems are saying they got the CBO blessing. It's political war and Obama just got the upper hand back for a while. Republicans need to hold a paper on TV saying the CBO report says Obama-care will run up huge deficits.
VP Biden on Obamacare’s passage: “This is a big f-ing deal”.
grumpygresh: “Repeal the f-ing deal”
ObamaCare is Slavery
communism is slavery
therefore
obamacare is communism
one step further
Obamacare is the Democrat Party
The Democrat Party is Communism
Am I wrong?
No. In the words of Ronald Reagan: "We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness."
March 23rd, 2010 was a dark day for not only American liberty, but for the liberty of the world. We are heading back to that time prior to the establishment of the USA.
A free man can choose to fore go treatment he cannot afford and have the option of seeking help from his family, neighbors, and community: a slave will be denied treatment with no recourse. In the end, you have no healthcare, but in the first case you're still free. Is there really any choice?
People need to work as hard as they can to take as little as they can from the government. There is no free lunch. Let them build empty monuments to themselves. If we don't buy in, they lose the power.
If conservatives can't clearly explain why universal health care is wrong without resorting to sound-bites, we have more problems than any sound-bite will ever solve.
Because that's all you get.
How do you figure? Since I'm not buying commercial time, I'm not limited to a moment or a pithy phrase. Besides, limiting yourself to a catch phrase makes you look as though you don't know what you are talking about. You shouldn't need to regurgitate a canned response. There are clear and obvious dangers to universal health care to give any American pause.
Again, we need to be able to explain ourselves. It'll take more than a sound-bite, but I assure you that it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
The guilded cage is being constructed around us as we watch. It is quite ironic that liberal women have for decades shouted against the gov’t telling women what to do with their bodies have lead the charge in having the gov’t tell everyone, including women, what to do with their bodies. We are on the road to serfdom.
I’m thinking more along the lines of Debtor’s Prison would eliminate any fake wailing of racial overtones.
The three “R”s of Obamacare: Repression, Redistribution, and Rationing.
It would appear that we have already failed.
Again, we need to be able to explain ourselves.
Explaining isn't the problem. You can explain all you want, but that doesn't mean anybody will listen.
Recall how the banks and credit card companies jacked up their rates and generally implemented more ways to screw their customers as soon as the law passed that said they had to stop doing that after a year.
Insurance companies will jack up their rates HARD asap in preparation for not being able to in the future. That’s good for the bottom line now, which is the only thing that matters to Wall Street.
Neat, saving it.

Folks I think a variation of the Robin Hood theme is a very good thing to use. The confiscation of the wealth of the people to give it to the ruling elite class, is very near what the poor peasants endured during Robin Hood’s era. Their legitimate King Richard had been imprisoned in Austria and his younger brother, John took over the throne and browbeat all the opposition including the peasants. Voila! Enter Robin Hood!!!
Hey, I already used that line.
Thanks.
Honestly, I think ‘slavery’ is a bit much. More like a protection racket. I think calling it slavery or akin to the Holocaust as someone else has here only makes us look crazy. It’s another social program we don’t want to pay for, with the added insult of forcing us to buy something. I don’t like it, and it stings, but it’s not quite the same as being strapped to a post and whipped for not picking enough cotton.
Isn’t it ironic the “first black president” has succeeded in enslaving us all?
