Washington (CNN) -- President Obama on Tuesday signed into law a sweeping health care reform bill, the nation's most substantial social legislation in four decades, achieving a top priority of his administration.
Greeted by applause from enthusiastic supporters, he said, "Today after almost a century of trying; today, after over a year of debate; today, after all the votes have been tallied, health insurance reform becomes law in the United States of America."
The president said he is confident the Senate will improve the health care reform law swiftly. He said some health care reforms will take some time to phase in, but others will "take effect right away."

Indonesia doesn’t want him to visit. He has to go someplace. He only stayed in DC on Saturday and Sunday to upstage the anti-HC rallys. Bambi was on c-span throughout the weekend. It was hard to find coverage any place of anti-HC rallys. Even Fox News put their liberal anchors on the weekend and saved Hannity for after prime time.
If you have no coverage, the employer pays a fine, and you get in the pool or get fined. The IRS will come after you.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Bambi Care starts a list of “bad examples”, Americans who wouldn’t play along. They can make up stories about anyone. This is from Alinsky’s Rule for Radicals - it’s called ridicule.
If the IRS sucks money electronically out of peoples’ checking accounts, there may come a time to close ckg accounts and stop dealing w/the feds electronically altogether.
Welcome, you've been "Greeced"!
Priceless. Our only hope is that they will remember this when he crams through cap and tax and amnesty. (Wishful thinking)
Now that bill is signed, we should "not let this good crisis go to waste" - this is Obama-created nightmare for Democrats in Novemeber... if Republicans can keep from stepping on their own message.
Since Pelosi has been speaker it has cost the taxpayer $2.2M to flying the socialist around.
Someone I know got a text message from Oblama on her cellphone. She has no idea how he got her phone number.
With signs that read:
WE’LL REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER!
“aims to promote it on the road”
Hmmm...if this is such an obviously good thing, why do they have to promote it? I know the answer to that...;)
“Also from CNN: Republican Mitt Romney will talk to Larry King about his campaign to repeal health care reform legislation and will take your Facebook/Twitter questions and phone calls on “Larry King Live,” 9 p.m. ET on CNN.”
Say whaa? Is he planning on repealing Romneycare as a prelude? Mitt is to Obamacare what Lindsey Graham is to illegal aliens. Give me a break.
this ring a bell to anyone. What a POS lying fraud this president is.
“When there’s a bill that ends up on my desk as President, you the public will have 5 days to look online to find out what’s in it before I sign it.” —0bama
I sure am glad that President Obama worked so hard to make health care affordable. God bless you Mr. President!
If this clown (obammy) is within 300 miles I’d like to be there just to heckle him.
What Leadership! *SMIRK*
All that guy can DO is campaign! Lord, Hear Our Prayer!
“I meant to do this before, but it was a good day for the TV to die.”
Proud of ya! You need to join our subversive ‘Dave Ramsey’ ping list. ;)
Let CSM know if you’re interested. :)

That’s all he is.

Except the most important bill to ever hit his desk...LIE, LIE, LIE!
I’m pray’in you are right!
However I see 2 problems with that scenario:
1st. Obamanation is out there woo-ing the 20-somethings right? What happens when the “Mean-old-Republicans” try to take away this voting blocks new-found bennies?
2cd. Most heath care plans are renewed every year in January, right? Most of the “Asleep-at-the-wheel-Americans’ wont see any increase in their premiums before the election.
