I want to thank all those who went to Washington, D.C. this week and this weekend to take a heartfelt stand for our freedom. And thanks to those who fought the battle from home.
You have made a difference, even though it appears a battle has been lost today.
Our opponents fear you. Don't be fooled by their bravado. And don't be intimidated by their attempts to paint you in a false light. They know how strongly you feel about defending our liberty.
Liberal standard bearer Howard Fineman of Newsweek wrote this about the Tea Party protesters still at the Capitol at 10 p.m. on Sunday night:
I'm sitting in the House Press Gallery writing a piece for Newsweek. It's almost 10 pm and the House is moving toward a vote. On the plaza below, outside the Capitol, I can hear the remnants of a raucous Tea Party crowd. They are chanting "Nancy! Nancy!" and "Kill the Bill." They just sang "God Bless America." I've been around a while, and don't remember a crowd of foes trying to shout down a bill from outside as the vote approached. Maybe it's happened. Though the voices are faint, they're worth noting--and remembering.
I've been around a while, too, and I am enormously proud of the work that was done this week by our side. You will be remembered. And if you stay the course you will be victorious one day.
Thank all of you that went to DC.
Considering the size of the Dems’ margin in the House this tiny victory shows how divided they are, and how strong the opposition is. Thanks especially to those who went to DC to rally. Wish I could have been there.
Thank you.
Everyone who participated was awesome. It was an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with such dedicated and selfless patriots.
I suspect we’ll soon see the markets react to this political and economic travesty. Dems have this country teetering on the edge on insolvency and it won’t go unnoticed (except for the MSM).
Thank you that. We and a lot of others were there. We are feeling a little down right now but, I’m sure we all made a difference. This is only one battle. I have to believe that we will win the war.
I thank you for being there. Great job.
In times like this its good to recall Churchill:
* Let our advance worrying become advance thinking and planning.
* Never, never, never give up.
We have not yet begun to fight!
Pray for America and the T Parties
Thank you, Kristinn. It was an honor to stand with you. I’m sure we’ll be doing it again soon. This obviously ain’t over.
Ditto that.
Thanks so much kristinn. I wished I could have been there. I sit here in total disgust on how 219 treacherous idiots have in one fell swoop, changed the lives of me, my Hub, my children and grandchildren. I also share my disgust with the idiots that voted for this Demon-ratic majority as well as this marxist POS president we have. What scares me is that there are STILL those out there that will vote some of these people back in. Will this really be a wake-up call for the destiny of our country?? I pray to God it will be.
I also would like to thank all the good people who were on the Capitol steps.
Being from the opposite side of the country, working in an industry that is season related ( this not being the season) and living in the failing state of CA. there was no way my husband and I could attend, but we did keep up a prayer vigil.
HUGE THANKS TO ALL THE PATRIOTS.
“Never, never, never give up. “
And never give in.
We will fight on the beach heads. We will fight in the fields. We will fight in the streets.
We shall never, never give in!
Yes! Thanks so much to all of you. I was there 9/12. I hope and pray we can again draw a crowd of a million or more in the near future.
Vintage Churchill. He said it, and by God he meant it. It wasn’t meant to be rhetorical or poetic. We need to develop that same bulldog tenacity.
This is our finest hour!
“Im glad they could hear us inside, makes the loss of my voice worth it.”
It was fun. NAAAAAAANNNCEEEEE!
God bless you and all that traveled so far to be there. We met people from NY, FL, CN, OH, WI, NC and we’re from MD. So it’s not so far for us. SO, Salute to you all.
Thanks to you and all. My heart was there.
