It looks like pro-life Democrat Bart Stupak has lied to Americans in opposition to the current health care bill. He never intended to vote against the legislation when it came down to final vote. Listen to this video of Bart Stupak recorded last year, when he was unaware he was being recorded.

Representative Bart Stupak: So that's what I will do... Let's say they give us our amendment. Let's say we have an amendment... 3200 is on the floor... On November 6th, the amendment, I offer an amendment that says 'no public funding for abortion,' that's bewen the law of the land for many many decades... and we lose that vote.

Let's say we lose it, we need 218 to win. Say we get 217 and we lose it. Would I vote against health care? If I had the chance to vote my conscience on it, I probably would not. I probably would still vote for the health care bill at the end of the day.

Audience member: Um, I guess it still bothers me that at the end of the day, yes you would have said your voice, but the one more voice would be the vote at the end of the day that would be, 'okay, even though I didn't get what I wanted I still am going to vote in favor of taxpayer-funded abortion.

BS: You understand the majority of people votes against us and they want to put it in there...

Audience member: But you would still have had a chance to vote on behalf of the fact that you have the Michigan Right To Life endorsement and 62% of Americans don't want this, you would vote against the bill on the end of the day.

BS: Oh I may not, it depends... [inaudible] I don't want the abortion in there. And I got a chance to vote against that somewhere in this process. But that doesn't mean, and if I lose that vote, that doesn't mean I vote against the whole bill.

BS: If everything I want in a bill, the final bill, I like everything in the bill except you have public funding for abortion, and we had a chance to run our amendment and we lost... okay, I voted my conscience, stayed true to my principles, stayed true to those beliefs of this district, could I vote for a health care? Bart Stupak, like all alleged pro-life Democrats, has been and is running a scam in order to get elected.

Stupak's district is R+3. There is absolutely no reason that this scumbag shouldn't be thrown out in November.

I’ve been popping Valium and drinking vino since around noon. I am in my home office with the door closed and the Stones greatest hits are continiously playing on my ipod. I believe in God, my family, my fellow conservatives and have as much optimism as I can muster( which makes me feel like I’m bi-polar at times). I see the picture of peelosi on Drudge and think it’s a positive cause it looks like the sheep going to slaughter, but then I think of all the Chicago politics that have gone on to this minute and want to pop another Valium. I know that good shall overcome evil, right will win over wrong and the meek shall inheritate the earth, but I’m truly worried about this. I remember now how I felt as a child waiting for my father to come home and find out from my mother what I had done and what was in store for me. I know I have no control over how this representatives will vote, all I can do is protect my family the best I can and remember this day.
