Video Surfaces of John Lewis "N*****" Incident at Tea Party Protest on Capitol Hill

A video has surfaced this evening of the incident today involving civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and Tea Party protesters on Capitol Hill.

Rep. Lewis has alleged that he was called a n***** by the protesters.

Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), who was walking with Rep. Lewis, says he heard the word n***** fifteen times.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) claims "It was a chorus" of people yelling "n*****."

The video, filmed by Marooned in Marin and posted at YouTube, shows Reps. Lewis and Carson walking together, with Rep. Cleaver several yards behind as they fight their way through the Tea Party patriots like they were in 1965 Selma, Alabama.

Reps. Chaka Fattah (D-PA) and Maxine Waters (D-CA) are also walking behind Lewis in the video.

How staged can you get? I was surprised not to see them walking arm-in-arm singing "We Shall Overcome".

Just because they were expecting racial slurs doesn't mean there were any.

I have to say, it's incredible to be here and witness first-hand how these democRATs cook up some alleged "wrongdoing" by citizens who happen to oppose their policies, link it somehow to racism and slander us by claiming we used the "N" word at them when we didn't. And even to mention that on the floor of the House, with fellow democRATs backing them up. (Referring to my post 82 above)

Don’t know - there was a crowd of black people going counterflow and saying it a lot. I dislike racial slurs regardless of source so considered challenging, but didn’t.

Go to Twitter and in the search box type “nigga”. There will be hundreds of thousands tweets with that word. The pictures of each person using that word shows that they are all Black or bi-racial. It’s common language among young Blacks to call each other nigga. So, what’s the problem?

All I could hear was “Kill the Bill!” After reaading your post, I went back to watch the video again and listened at :45. I hear what you’re saying. It did sound similar, but it was unintelligible, so I really couldn’t tell what he was saying.

There's more to it than those videos or the bullsh*t claims are making out.

The Congressmen are crossing the street at the Longworth House Office Building crosswalk. Longworth has an UNDERGROUND TUNNEL connecting it to the other HOBs and the Capitol.

IOW, there was absolutely NO reason for those Congressmen to exit the building and cross there ... unless they were deliberately trying to provoke a reaction from the crowd. They could've just taken the tunnel over.

Not getting what they wanted, it seems they've now resorted to making things up.
