The project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palins Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode.
Sarah Palin is following a trajectory more Kardashian than politician, demanding a big paycheck in her quest for reality-TV stardom. After shopping her TV docudrama to major broadcast and cable networks, two channels A&E and Discovery have expressed interest in the project, which is tentatively titled Sarah Palins Alaska. Palin is asking for $1 million to $1.5 million per episode, considered a hefty amount for a first-year cable series. The show executive-produced by reality-television guru Marc Burnett will feature the former governor touring her home state, completing activities such as visiting fishing boats or trekking to a gold mine. There had better be a caribou-hunting episode or else this really has no business calling itself a Sarah Palin Alaska show.
Ah ha! A Huckabee supporter.
Hell, that's no less than what Julius Peppers makes for playing one game of pro football!
You are woefully misinformed.
Beats a Governor’s salary...

Really? Are you saying that you are satisfied with our dear leader's Foreign Policies?
Good for Sarah!
w/apologies to The Steve Miller Band...
“This heres a story about Sarah Palin and her man Todd,
The former Governor of Alaska, that got the VP nod,
Might have lost the ‘08 Election, but looked good on the tube,
And here is what happened when they finally did cut loose...
Attended a bunch o’ Tea Parties, in the Lower 48,
Squeezed in a book tour, and the people said she’s great,
Sarah got a gig on Fox News, the Left was set to wrassle,
Sarah said “you betcha boys”, for it was no big hassle...
Go on...
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
John McCain is a RINO down in Arizone,
Whenever he says “my friends” everybody starts to moan,
Sarah agreed to support him just for his re-election,
But J.D. Hayworth’s gonna win, it’s time for a new direction,
So go on...
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Sarah Palin has the money to run (run! run! run!)
Now Sarah has her sights set on a new reality show,
“Sarah Palin’s Alaska” (now where else would they go?)
Compensation for each episode? A cool million or so,
Todd will need an industrial snowmobile to haul away all the dough,
And we’re all singin’,
C’mon Sarah, you got the money to run (run! run! run!)
C’mon Sarah, you got the money to run (run! run! run!)
C’mon Sarah, you got the money to run (run! run! run!)
C’mon Sarah, you got the money to run (run! run! run!)”
(thank you very much, thank you very much... ;)

Exactly, her "I quit" speech was almost word for word what Reagan said when he quit halway through his first term as governor...
Of course she’s running, just not officially she’s the most articulate person in America right now. She can speak w/3 words on her hand better than Premier Achmed can w/3 Telecrutches.
Pray for America and Gov Palin
If she ever visited it once, she would agree don't you think?
Lots of these Anti-palinistas are just mad cause there’s no army forming behind Ron Paul. Although there is a nice little firing squad forming in front of him.
PRay for America and Gov Palin
Huh? That's nonsense. Who did the crafting? McCain's campaign staff? Throwing her to the MSM wolves (Couric , Gibson etc) isn't exactly what I would characterize as careful.
Nah ... I gave it to you, because you so clearly needed it.
How is that Paul campaign going?? Think he’ll break 5 this time?
Pray for America and Gov Palin
Discussions about what to do with China, Iran, Russia, economic issues, and the like ... those ought to merit sophisticated thought, shouldn't they?
Do you, the self-styled pundit, really think that a president doesn't need to be capable of making and dealing with sophisticated arguments?
As Reagan would say "Mr Gorbachev 'tear down this wall"; or "how about we win they lose".
Famous statements by Reagan who was thought of as an unsophisticated dunce by his betters who came from Harvard and other citadels of "sophistication".
I would...and I live there
I never said I would.
Besides, who claims that the Ice Road trucker show is a success? Any links to ratings?
I say the show with Palin would probably be interesting but I doubt that it would last long.
Unless she's going to show ANWAR and how desolate it is to show how drilling would be okay how many people would actually tune in every week to see something about it?
Sarahs Notes on her Facebook are damn good and have been published in the WP and WSJ amoung others.
I read it years ago. I read about two-thirds and when he hit the 20th Century I lost interest because it just didn't have the intrigue to me any longer. Maybe you will find it different.
I've read eight of his books. Alaska is only one I didn't finish.
LOL!!
Sarah can make 50+ million in the next couple of years.
Especially if she can keep a several million people thinking she might run for POTUS ;-)
