Louis B. Neumiller was known for his humility, integrity, and commitment to quality. As president of the Caterpillar Tractor Company from 194154, he led the manufacturer of earth-moving equipment through the challenges of World War II into global expansion. In the book In Their Time: The Greatest Business Leaders of the Twentieth Century, authors Mayo and Nohria describe Neumillers leadership as success without fanfare. His mark of greatness, they note, was that he took his identity out of the business and let his company become a hero instead of himself.
We see the same quality of selflessness in John the Baptist, the dynamic preacher who repeatedly affirmed his mission of paving the way for the Messiah. When Johns followers became concerned that Jesus was baptizing people and crowds were following Him, John replied: You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but, I have been sent before Him. . . . He must increase, but I must decrease (John 3:28,30).
As followers of Christ, are we lifting Him up instead of seeking honor for ourselves? Rather than being disappointed when our contribution is unnoticed, we should be glad because our highest privilege is to magnify the Lord. Hes the hero!
Honoring Him is the mark of greatness.

Great road trip, guys! I think we get some of their planes flying over our area and doing touch-and-go’s at the local airport sometimes.
Evening, Kathy. Hope you’re enjoying the Ides of March.

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our AWESOME military, our allies, and their families
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities. I can see where people thought they were seeing flying saucers. Those planes look like one from a distance.
~ Today...A few sprinkles possible early. Cloudy skies early, followed by partial clearing. High 57F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.
~ Tonight.... Mainly clear skies. Low 39F. Winds light and variable.
One more crappy day and then we'll have sunshine and warm temps.
For now, time to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. And, remember Ill be watching!
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM

Kathy, so what is the story behind the pic of the guy standing in front of the old P-80 holding the tabby cat by the scruff?
There just has to be a funny story behind that pic....
