WASHINGTON (AP) ― Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's wife and daughter are recovering in a Washington-area hospital after a car accident.
A spokesman for Reid says the majority leader's wife, Landra, and their daughter, Lana, were injured Thursday when their vehicle was rear-ended. Reid left the Senate for the hospital. The spokesman says details are unclear.

Harry really should take an early retirement to be with his family at this troubling time.

Under the Obamacare plan, his wife and daughter would both get a set of used dentures and sent on their way.
A few years ago, we would be asking, “Where’s Teddy?”

That’s what I thought when I read they were “rear-ended”, but these were females. No reason to suspect either of those two.

Seriously, I hope they are or will be OK. And I only wish that a doc at the hospital could have faked them out, saying “Under ObamaCare, they will get this number: 247. Please mop up any blood with this cloth and wait until your number is called. Today they will be seen by Medical Aide #12. Oh, just kidding! Get them into their beds now and hook up the IVs!”
