Romney tops bestseller list

Posted on 03/11/2010 10:59:26 AM PST by RED SOUTH

Mitt Romney's new book, "No Apology: The Case for American Greatness," will debut on top of the New York Times bestseller list due out March 21.

Romney's book tour has, so far, attracted pretty large crowds, serving -- along with the book sales -- to reassure his supporters that, though he may not draw Sarah Palin style hordes, he's a figure of genuine popular interest.

Ben “BS” Smith of Politico, claims “No Apology” by Mitt Romney is going to be #1 on the NY Times Best Seller list.

Right now Karl Rove’s new book is #1 of Amazon.com. Patriots’s History is #15, Andrew Napolitano is #25 and Mitt is #26.

Mitt is #4 at Borders (which is Michigan-based) and #215 at Barnes & Noble.

Based on these reports, it's doubtful Romney could be #1. The only thing that could be driving Mitt is huge bulk purchases by the Mormon Church or Mitt himself. At $10 each via a mass purchase, Mitt could buy 40,000 for $400k. What did he spend in 2008 – $40mm.

It appears the media wants to select the GOP nominee again.

Romney is exactly the kind of guy to orchestrate masked corporate or temple sales to land on the bestseller list.

Romney is not a viable candidate...so it's obvious why the left is trying to build him up.

If you want to know why America is great spend your money of Patriot’s history not Wilard’s book. I think after reading Patriot’s you can a better book than Willard.

“Romney: I Was For The Bailout Before I Was Against It”

“Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Romney bragged that he raised huge amounts of money by pimping Scott Brown’s campaign.

But Bloomberg says Mitt RomneyCARE kept the money for HIMSELF.

“Romney had $1.1 million left in the bank.
He contributed $4,500 to Republican Scott Brown,
who was elected US senator from Massachusetts on Jan. 19.
McCain topped Romney’s donation to Brown’s campaign,
chipping in $5,000 from his PAC,
according to the commission. -- BLOOMBERG NEWS”

So I can’t simply state that I like the sentiment expressed by the TITLE of his book.

I am in no way, shape or form, a Romney supporter
