Per Fox, this is Obama's latest claim. CBO says it's the opposite: ObamaCare will raise deficit by this amount over 10 years. White House may now be back-pedaling on this.

Why stop at 1 trillion bambi, if you are going to lie make it 10 trillion, hell, just claim that Obamacare alone will balance the budget. Yeah, thats the ticket.

Well sure. Doesn't it stand to reason? If you are in financial trouble and paying out more than you are taking in, the way to solve the problem is to increase your expenses and outstanding liabilities even more. Having trouble making your monthly housepayment? Take out a second mortgage. Electric bill too high? Jack up the air conditioner and cool it down even more this summer. Water bill too high? Take longer showers and water the lawn more often. The possibilities are endless.
What about all the promises he made for the stimulus and cash for clunkers? All were failures, yet no one holds Zero’s feet to the fire over the claims he made about them, now do they?
What makes anyone think that he’ll be held to account for this particular claim?
This just shows that he doesn’t pay attention to what’s going on. He was reading his teleprompter and relating what he’s been told to say. The people that wrote his speech got it wrong and he didn’t know the difference.
I have heard Hussein say that by the federal govt. taking over health care it will relieve states of medicaid obligations. He says that the states are running big deficits on this and the federal takeover will fix that. The assertion that this reduces deficits is idiotic. It just shifts it from the states to the feds. It centralizes control of the system under an entity that can run deficits without having to pay for them and that has the power to print the $ needed to pay if it so chooses.
A free media would tear him apart for this idiotic statement.
That is not the figure Obama offered. He said it would be eleventy-skadillion dollars in deficit reduction.
Right. That’s like saying it relieves a burden on you financially for the liability of one loan to decrease while taking out another loan of a like or higher amount at the same time. It is absurd logic.
The definition in the dictionary for Obama will be liar.
If that is true, why is Medicare and Medicaid going bankrupt?...............
