WASHINGTON—The Obama administration is leaning toward trying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the other alleged plotters of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in a military tribunal, reversing a Justice Department pledge to put them before a civilian court.

Administration officials said moves by Congress as well as by local and state governments are all but foreclosing the civilian-court option. Members of Congress have moved to cut off funds for a civilian trial, while local governments have expressed reluctance to play host to such a trial.

The obamanation administration tries to do as much damage to the country as possible, but every now and then they have to cave on something because of extreme public pressure. Not because they have re-thought the situation and had come to their senses.

All of these pieces of shit don't need to be tried. They all plead guilty. Sentence them to death, hang them and let them all go to the 72 virgins and Allah like they want. Save the American taxpayers millions and billions for all the bs we would have to put up with.

It is a head fake.

KSM being tried in NY is not tied to closing Guantanamo...but Obama makes it ‘appear’ he’s ‘negotiating’, when the real bottom line is, it’s about closing Guantanamo.......always, always with him, it’s about ‘his’ ‘image’...

I believe that all of this NYC vs military tribunal stuff is a diversion. The real issue is that Holder has AGs that have defended gitmo detainees. I believe that KSM will be found innocent because of the Holder and Obama’s philosophy.
