Why wouldn't Sarah Palin be at an Oscar gifting suite?
The Fox News contributor and one-time vice presidental hopeful showed up to Silver Spoon's Oscar Suite in West Hollywood yesterday, benefiting the Red Cross.
But like all politicians, Sarah and her crew were hardly gems when the cameras weren't rolling...
"They were like locusts," says one vendor at the suite, regarding Palin and her large group of hangers-on. "She showed up with like 20 people, and they immediately swarmed the place taking everything!"
S.P. was accompanied by daughter Willow, grandson Tripp and a bunch of female handlers. A source at the suite said Palin was stopping in while daughter Bristol was doing a photo shoot nearby.
We're told Palin was quite the prima donna and that she insisted the suite be opened two hours early so she could come when no looky-loos would be around.
"They told us last minute to get here superearly for [Palin]," says our rightfully annoyed source. "Then, she wouldn't let anyone take her picture or do any interviews."

Earlier today we read where Sarah was gonna head up her own reality TV show.
Now this gossip site has her trolling for gifts at the Oscars.
I know this is made up trash. But still....

Andrew Malcolm e-mailed us from the Left Coast to let us know what Sarah Palin has been up to in LA-LA Land. The Liberals, as with everything she does, will not be pleased: Sarah Palin stopped by the Silver Spoon Oscar Suite with daughter Willow and grandson Tripp.
Benefiting the Red Cross, the swag suite snagged the former vice presidential candidate for photo ops and gifting from beauty and luxury sponsors. At the Interior Illusions store in West Hollywood, Palin received jewels from Pascal Mouawad, watches by Skagen and Unite hair care products.
I'm told the oft-parodied politico donated all of her gift items back to the Silver Spoon for auction, as well as about $1,700 of her own cash, in support of multiple Red Cross efforts, including those in Haiti and Chile.
How dare she! Why, the nerve of That Woman!

While I commend Sarah for supporting the Red Cross.
She had no business doing so in Hollywood.
Hollywood, Vegas, San Francisco, Washington DC.... These are places anyone with political aspirations should steer clear of.
