Folks, despite all the rhetoric about reconciliation, the real fight is to get the House to pass the Senate bill, word for word, exactly like it came from the Senate. Until then, there can be no "reconcilliation" vote in the Senate, and furthermore, only the Senate bill, word for word, can be voted on. All the rhetoric about changes to the bill, slimmed down bill, incorporation of Republican ideas is simply nonsense.
Both Senator Jim DeMint and Senator Lindsey Graham explained this quite nicely on FNC last night.
We must pressure the House members and keep the pressure on.
I just called Betsy Markey's office in D.C. and unloaded. I was not polite. Time for politeness is long past. My statement was:
"I'm just a guy. I have no special interest. I'm not rich. But I'm p!ssed the f**k off<.big> and I have a $5,000.00 check sitting here waiting to go to her opponent if she votes for the Senate bill. And there's lots more like me. If she wants to have any chance whatsoever of being re-elected, she better not reverse her vote and vote for the Senate bill!
These are ten House members that voted no on the House health care takeover bill and whom Obama is trying to arm-twist in voting for the Senate bill in the House.n Please call them and put the fear of God into these people!

I called my congressman and both senators yesterday.
Bump! Thanks for providing the phone numbers, makes it fast and easy.
LOL I’m represented by the *Honorable Vacancy* at the moment.
Everyone should take a look at my early FR thread on this subject. It will clear up a lot of the confusion.
I’m calling Heath Shuler to tell him it’s time to call an audible at the line of scrimmage
Can’t get through to Boyds office but called the local office (850) 561-3979. He said he is looking for 4 criteria in order to vote yes. Can’t remember what they are. One is that it doesn’t add to deficit and another is affordable coverage for all. Abortion isn’t an issue with him.
I’m represented by Rep Schwartz. She’s a hopeless lefty, but I called anyway.
“One is that it doesnt add to deficit “
Well, the Democrats are lying if they say it doesnt add to the deficit. They made it ‘neutral’ by having taxes for for 10 years and the benefit start 4 years later. IN the following 10 years it would be a huge burden on the deficit and debt, not to mention the added taxes.
Betsy Markey is a hopeless lefty too. But she won in a conservative district and has to walk a tightrope if she has any chance at all of being re-elected. Unfortunately, she may conclude she’s unlikely to be re-elected under any circumstance and simply decide to commit political suicide
Here's the official Code Red List for the selected HOUSE DEMOCRATS THAT NEED TO BE PUSHED HARDEST.
The clickable links go to their online Message System. You can use the same City, State, Zip, and Area Codes as one of their local district offices (usually listed on the same page) with any street address you want --- you're using local information to get through their spam filter. For Zip+4, use any 4 digits added onto the selected Zip Code.
Write a brief, punchy letter in your Word Program, and cut-and-paste it to one congresscritter after another from the CODE RED LIST.
It is easy to do 15 or 20 of them in an hour.
Go get em.

Bump for: Operation Defending Freedom
Made my calls. Got thru to all but 3 of them.
Fox nitely news had a short report about a Tea Party “wave” being put together to protest the vote.
Anyone know anything about it?
Thank you for this easy to use thread linkage!
