Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is meeting with television executives this week to pitch a documentary about her home state, FOX has learned. Despite several media reports that the project was a reality show, Fox411 confirms that it is a documentary that will focus on the people, geography and wildlife of Alaska. A source close to Palin says the show has absolutely nothing to do with her personal life or her family. Palin is teaming up with Survivor creator Mark Burnett and Robert Barnett to produce the project, sources tell Fox. The group is in Los Angeles this week meeting with network heads about the documentary, and there is already great interest in it. In total, the group will meet with six different networks."

Boy, is Rush ever right when he says the MSM is the only industry convinced that the customer is always wrong...
The lady is a Dynamo!
Just to repeat for all the Palin haters- this is NOT a Osbornes type reality show about her family, this is an Earth type show about Alaska that has nothing to do with her family. She is promoting the State she loves, not self-promotion.
If we only had another 100 of her in Washington.....and in the political fray.
I’ll just say (for fear of the MODS) that a lot of people including on here at FR have been exposed...BIG TIME!!!
GO SARAH!!
Man, how prophetic was that statement only hours before this brouhaha..
you are going to have to type WAY louder if you expect the Palin-haters to hear you over the sound of their self-believed superiority
If it’s a documentary then why is she contacting reality show producers? Surely she can find some people at National Geographic who have actually done documentaries before?
“A lie can travel around the world in the morning before the truth gets its pants on.” — Sarah Palin
HOW TRUE! INDEED!
That thread yesterday about this was nasty with Palin hatred- people knee jerk and assume the worst right off the bat.
It was amazing how fast they were willing to write her off, wasn’t it? Almost as if they were waiting for an opportunity. Hmmmm
Except that she stole that from Winston Churchill.
Because reality producers have a track record of producing shows that can hit a 20 share while National Geographic is lucky to get a MSNBC level viewership. Anyway, most of these producers cross over. The label 'reality show producer' is just something the article slaps on them- they are just producers. Mark Burnett has a very diverse portfolio.

I suspect the underlying theme will show how Alaska can solve the nation’s financial and security problems by energy (oil and alternatives) independence.
So glad to hear this. I hate to think that Sarah would stoop to doing a reality show (especially since it appears he daughter has been sucked into that)
Let’s hope!
How many FReepers bought into the Reality Show lie hook, line and sinker.
