Communist writer Jed Brandt thinks trouble is brewing in America and hopes to use this turmoil to overthrow the American system, Glenn Beck said on his TV program.
He played video of this dangerous kook urging the destruction of the United States:
We have to help bring this government down, we have to help destroy this system and that requires increasing the alienation that working class and oppressed people feel. The way change is going to happen in this country is through the destruction of what we call the United States of America.
Im opposed to white supremacy not because its white people involved. I am opposed to the system we traditionally call imperialism and the idea that some people have rights and privileges that are not granted to all human beings. And the solution to that problem is called communism and socialism and we should put it in our mouths. We should say it when we say what is your politics? I am a socialist. I demand that we have health care for people and its not a demand thats negotiable with health insurance companies.
We will take your insurance companies; we will take the farms in this country; we will shut down the military apparatus in this country and I am tired of being told to stuff my anger back in my pants.
Brandt bears more than a passing similarity to other hardcore, ends-justify-the-means leftists such as Joe Conason, Adam Serwer, and the Fake Journalist Max Blumenthal, if not in substance, at least in tone.

He appears to be of African heritage. Perhaps someone should inform him that we once had something very similar to communism here in the US, where your job was guaranteed, your home was guaranteed and your food was guaranteed. It was called the slave plantation.
I was mall in the 60’s so don’t remember much of it.
I agree. Seeing former ROK Marines taking their assault rifles to the rooftops of their shops in Koreatown, and blowing the heads off of the likes of RCP member Joseph Veale, was some of the most beautiful violence I've ever seen. I would very much like to see how Round 2 might work out, and I suspect the beautiful day is coming.
Cool your jets, Jed. Zero’s got it under control. The destruction of America, direct from the White House.
They better think again about that in this country, the farms are better armed than the army..........
“We have to help bring this government down, we have to help destroy this system and that requires increasing the alienation that working class and oppressed people feel. The way change is going to happen in this country is through the destruction of what we call the United States of America.”
This is pretty much a rehash of the Obama philosophy.
Yep, it’s pure Alinsky-Gramsci-Clinton-Obama.
And they are making progress on doing so. With the help of a pathetic slave mentality people they have gotten both their man and their party in power.
The average American will never even think about this, let alone read it. A shame!
Glad we’re not average.
FReepers are by far the most politically astute people I have ever encountered. Most people give politics a cursory look, at best.
I thought 0bama was already doing this?
It’s not easy being politically astute. Takes a lot of research and involvement.
Much easier to accept Hopey Changey with a blind eye.
“Much easier to accept Hopey Changey with a blind eye.”
Maybe the people will finally wake up, but it sure would have helped if they had spent 2 lousy hours on their computer researching this scumbag prior to the election.
Most people are not thinking at all about politics. They’re thinking about their paycheck, their bills and their next vacation.
Yesterday in the airport they were paging Mrs. Bernadette Ayers. As soon as I heard the name my head went up and I looked around. There was not one raised eyebrow.
