Al's Latest Global-Warming Whopper (Gore trying to resurrect the hoax)
fox news ^ | 3/2/2010 | Alan Reynolds

Al Gore's defense of global-warming hysteria in Sunday's New York Times has many flaws, but I'll focus on just one whopper -- where the "Inconvenient Truth" man states the opposite of scientific fact.

Gore wrote, "The heavy snowfalls this month have been used as fodder for ridicule by those who argue that global warming is a myth, yet scientists have long pointed out that warmer global temperatures have been increasing the rate of evaporation from the oceans, putting significantly more moisture into the atmosphere -- thus causing heavier downfalls of both rain and snow in particular regions, including the Northeastern United States."

It's an interesting theory, but where are the facts?

According to "State of the Climate" from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, "Global precipitation in 2009 was near the 1961-1990 average." And there was certainly no pattern of increasing rain and snow on America's East Coast during the post-1976 years, when NOAA says the globe began to heat up.

The people I know are done with Gore and his hoax. We won’t tolerate tax policy based on a lie.

OMG! Al has explained the lifecycle of water, evaporation, and precipitation.

What else might he have learned in third grade that this stupid culture might be scared by?

So let me get this straight...when AWG critics point to the massive snowfalls as evidence against global warming it is just weather, but when AGW proponents point to the snowfall it becomes evidence, is that correct?

Amazing how the same event can be evidence one way but is only weather when considered by the opposite side. Normal people call that hypocrisy.

Well said! That about explains this nonsense! I suppose he could scare the kids with this CO2 cycle for photosynthesis.

Thank God those rising sea levels will be offset by increased ocean evaporation.

OMG! More natural geological and meteorlogical facts that when explained by Al Gore scare people.

I think his lawyers told him to make a statement and write that article. If he admits knowledge of the hoax he’ll loose all the lawsuits that are coming. If he claims belief and blames his ignorance on the scientists then he might have a chance to save some of his money and not do jail time. I do believe that the scientists will claim he knew and bring him down, united we fall.

Hey, can someone get Al to wear one of those life suits that recirculates urine and breath moisture like they wore in “Dune”.

That photosynthesis graphic has several experts at the UN working on policy right now.

Funny you mention it, but I had a biology exam in fifth grade which consisted of one question.

"Explain in detail what would happen on the earth if photosynthesis were to end?"

I gave a long drawn out smartest person in the room type answer on three pages. I filled out a second submission on one page with one sentence. "We'd be dead in a month"

The dead in a moth response got an A and the smartest person in the room answers got a C. She let me pick which I wanted to count.

So, Al, since you continue to hype the AGW ‘threat’ and demand that ‘something’ be done to stop it, when are you going up to Capitol Hill to lobby Congress to declare war on China (the world’s largest greenhouse gas emitter) if they don’t stop polluting?

Algore has visions of multimillion losses if nations don’t follow through with the warming scam. Right about now, some of the major players in the scam are wishing they had used a smarter front man.

Let’s see:

Sun: check
Carbon Dioxide: check
Water: check

Looks like that flower needs global warming stuff to survive.

Yep, and all that "nasty" stuff does is give us oxygen. That should be against the law!
