TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) Arizona Senator John McCain wants President Obama to start health care reform all over again. He argues polls suggest Americans want a clean start and he says it needs more bipartisan support.
"This bill was written by Democrats for Democrats and then they tried and I understand power. What they try to do is peel off a couple of Republicans as they did with the stimulus bill and call it bipartisan," McCain said.

A fresh start is a fine idea. (1) It would fully restore filibuster capability, and (2) it took 14 months to get to this point ... by the time they get back here, we’ll be running the show.

Well, help me out.
Why is this McCain calls for a fresh start for health care
equal to this (SNATCHING DEFEAT FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY)
Given what the Republican leadership has been saying (the same thing)?

“He argues polls suggest Americans want....”
Since when did McCain give a flip about what the American people want?? EVERY poll says no to amnesty, to reduce legal immigration, but he couldn’t care less.

Given what the Republican leadership has been saying (the same thing)? Are you saying that the OP leadership wants to be "bipartisan" with Obama in the same manner that McCain wants to be "bipartisan" with Obama?
If so, that would explain A LOT about the RINO Party.

I’d be worried about it if I thought it actually would be something the Dems would agree to. As it is it is a great
political stalling position....

"This bill was written by Democrats for Democrats and then they tried and I understand power."This sentence is simply nonsensical.
McCain's mental acuity is falling quickly.

McCain can be counted on every time to screw things up. Fortunately, the Dims have found a politician even dumber than McCain - Barry Soetero. If Clinton were in the White House, he'd agree with McCain, convene a White House meeting, write a new bill that gives Mack a few crumbs and gives the Dems most of what they want and it would pass as "bipartisan." Then he'd throw a party, pull out a cigar and call up his favorite intern, laughing all the way.
But Barry is Ahab chasing his whale. He insists on the whole thing or nothing. Barry is our secret anti-RINO defense system.
To: rabscuttle385
Yeah, we know how your “bipartisan support” maneuvers has turned out before, Juan. No, thanks.
