Four Muslims Discharged Over Fort Jackson Threats, Probe Continues
The Jawa Report ^ | March 1, 2010 | Rusty "Asadullah Alshishani"

Posted on 03/01/2010 11:42:29 AM PST by Dinah Lord

If there was nothing to the allegations, then why were four of the five Muslim soldiers discharged? It seems to me that the earliest reports were wrong that the five Muslims were plotting to poison Fort Jackson's food supply. But later reports that there were nothing to the allegations were also clarified when we learned that the investigation was not into a plot but over comments about poisoning the food.

Interesting, it seems to me that if a person who fits the terrorist profile makes a threat, people are in danger.

So these guys are off the radar now, free to continue to plot terrorist acts?

Oh that's nice

From the link at this related thread.:

"The initial investigation confirmed that (the five soldiers) had not made any effort to poison food and that allegations about their disloyalty were inaccurate," Wilson told McClatchy Newspapers. "There was further investigation. I have not received any word of it being over. I think they would tell me."

Wilson also disclosed for the first time that four of the Muslim soldiers had been "administratively separated" from the Army, a military designation that means they were discharged with neither honorable nor dishonorable status.

"If you don't succeed (in the Army), you can be administratively discharged without a court-martial and without a full military review," Wilson said.

The fifth soldier was removed from active duty and returned to the National Guard's jurisdiction in Virginia, Wilson said.

Congressional officials said three of the five soldiers had been sent to the National Guard unit based in the District of Columbia.

Also interesting:

"They were stealing from other soldiers," Wilson said. "It was discovered that there had been petty crimes that were not related to the original allegations of food poisoning or disloyalty. The individuals were simply not trustworthy."

Surely the Feds aren't that damn stupid! Oh wait, I forgot we're talking about people like Eric Holder and Big Sis. Maybe they are that stupid.

Just another thought...

If they were stealing from other soldiers why weren’t they given a dishonorable discharge????

Curiouser and curiouser....

Unconfirmed initial reports said three of the Jackson Five were sent back to National Guard units, one was to be discharged under Chapter 5-17, AR 635-200, and one was being held until the investigation was over. Reports also indicated two of the suspects had stolen military ID cards and cell phones from other soldiers. No further reference was made to these reports by the Army except to say four of the five recruits were returned to their country of origin. The country was not named.

WTF?

A spray can of WD40 and a match would displace that jihad grimace from his bearded mug.

When they say “discharged”, do they mention caliber anywhere?

About those cell phones (from the pdf found by FReeper Veni Vidi Vici at the US's Iraq embassy site)

"Soldiers are not allowed to have cellular phones while in a training environment. All three locations (ESL Training, BCT and AIT)are considered training environments."

BCT (Basic Combat Training) and AIT (Advanced individual Training) takes place at Ft Jackson. (or did until it was recently moved to Fort Huachaca.*

*"Earlier, spokesman Jones said the sudden and silent transfer of Lima Nine headquarters from Fort Jackson to Fort Huachuca, Arizona, had absolutely nothing to do with the Jackson Five investigation."

Of course not.

Without question. No matter what happens Islam will most likely be erased from the final outcome.

All 5 were US citizens from northern Virginia (a hotbed of Islamic radicalism). http://www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=12059696 The second district representative says all five men were U.S. citizens from northern Virginia enrolled in "Lima 09," a program started to help train Farsi and Arabic speakers. Officials say the soldiers were not removed because of the allegations, but for instances of minor theft. An investigation continues into other possible crimes relating to information found on their laptops, Wilson said. The laptops were turned over to the FBI for analysis.
