This is kinda fun to watch. Here the commie leftists have bragged how they will change healthcare for America and all their promises have hit a snag—the American people en masse. The Rats don’t have the votes while their leaders are pressuring them into a corner as do or die. Something’s gotta give, eheheheheheheh!

Hasn’t Pelosi say that every few days for the pat 8 months? She is suffering from massive delusions of adequacy.

I would love to see her standing in the unemployment line.

Unfortunately San Francisco will send Pelosi back to Washington.

Come to think of it, maby we should prop up that idiot Cindy Sheehan and help her win Pelosi's district.

I expect any day to see Pelosi being carried out of congress in a strait jacket and put in a padded room for the rest of her life.

“...they’re trying to convince each other...”

They remain utterly predictable. Lucky for our side, LOL!

I’m not sure what they think they’re gaining. The GOP will be up to bat next, and will reverse all of this Commie/Socialist cr@p.

Unless, the ‘Rats are certain that they’ve got elections locked up from here on out...but individual states are proving that not to be so. *SHRUG*

Do they think they’ll garner votes by falling on their swords over health care? I just don’t get it. They’re delusional at the very least.

I think if that wench had the votes she would have done this weeks ago. I wonder if she has 218 over paid and underworked Democrats willing to give up the good life in just a few months.

how to rebuild sliding public support for the bill.

How do you rebuild something that was never there in the first place?

I dont want them to do it.

What if they pass it, and it doesnt get repealed by the incoming Republican congress? How often do socialist laws get repealed?

That’s a good point. It could get very, very ugly. But then, America is already BANKRUPT and no one (left or right) stops spending!!

I’m not WISHING for it to pass either, I’m WISHING for the demise of these Commie b@stards!

Given what you just said, and the Dems' collective stance on Iraq, let's taunt them with apocryphal quotes from Baghdad Betty:

"Hey, Nancy. While you're fighting for Obamacare, Bart Simpson is sleeping with your girlfriend!"

Full Disclosure: more likely it'd be Janet Napolitano, not Bart. /sarc>

Cheers!

The White House has already laid the groundwork for Congress to complete the legislation using a process known as budget reconciliation that requires a simple majority in the Senate.

What the hell does that mean? He had a meeting, and then unilaterally declared "If we can't get 60 votes, then we'll do it with 50 votes." That's "laying groundwork?"

Yes I believe that’s it. They’ve asked certain donks whose reelections are in jeopardy to fall on their swords.

They are certainly playing to their base, but they also want this so badly themselves. Full steam ahead and let the public know we’ll bend the rules to accomplish this.

There’s over two years until Obama faces reelection, which is a lifetime in politcs. Who knows what could happen between now and then.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday expressed confidence she will have enough votes to pass a health overhaul, but acknowledged it could come at a political cost to lawmakers who back the measure.

"To the cliffs, Comrades!" -- SanFranNan

"Uhh, hang on Nancy ... Let's think this one over." -- Dirty Harry Reid

People still go to ABC as “news”. Wow. Obvious error in a leading quote.

Morons will read this and think the GOP is at fault.

"If you use reconciliation on this health care bill, as we see today, what you're going to have is a thumbing of the nose at the American people," Sen. Kent Conrad, R-N.D., said on CBS.

Conrad is a Democrat. ABC misses again. Hi Georgie Stephocrat, you moron.

We've heard all this before so let them pull the trigger, if they can. Until then it's all talk.

I don't even think she believes what she says. I think too many plastic surgeries have left her disoriented and confused.
