Like “guns don’t kill people, people kill people”, a gun without a determined person’s hand has no power.
Unfortunately right now they have bigger guns and we haven’t been pushed far enough. But when push finally comes to shove, when PEOPLE have finally had enough, history has shown that anything at their disposal will work - rocks, knives, pitchforks, bare hands, fertilizer... even suicide bombers.
Having said that, I’m all in favor of people having guns and just about anything else they want for self defense - this will insure that the pushing stays to a minimum.

Obviously Milbank didn't watch the healtcare summit - he's only writing about what he wishes his cool-and-cerebral-hero the Obungler looked like, not the reality of this petty, condescending, arrogant, narcissistic little man who claims to be president. And also obviously, Milbank has a crush on Gordon Brown - he seems to admire the chair-throwing and cursing.
Other than that, this mess is the usual waste of time from Milbank and the WaCompost.
Dana, when you put down the Koolaid and think, do you really believe there are enough Republicans in DC to stop anything? Wake up! The blame Republicans game is just a dodge to distract public attention away form the failures of Democratic Party. The dog and pony show was nothing but a prelude to the nuclear option.
