Should "George" be allowed to play alongside "Cindy" and "Cathy" on a girls basketball team and then later accompany them into the privacy of a locker room or shower facility that formerly was "biology-based"?
That's the question that will be addressed Monday when the Maine Human Rights Commission meets to talk about "transgendered" students.
Guidelines have been proposed that would specify what commission officials believe all schools must do to make accommodations for any biological boy who asserts he's female, or biological girl who asserts she's male.
Under discussion will be the suggested guideline:
Transgender students must be allowed access to bathrooms that correspond with their gender identity or expression or, if they prefer, to existing single stall bathrooms.
With respect to locker rooms and shower facilities that involve undressing in front of others, transgender students must be provided with accommodations that meet their needs and that take into account the legitimate privacy concerns of all student involved.
Steve Martin, host of the Aroostook Watchmen Radio Program, said the proposed guidelines go far beyond what the people in Maine were promised when the 2005 human rights law passed.

I don’t know but the storm hasn’t really stopped. And it isn’t a few moonbats. It is a movement. It is occurring across this nation. Sometimes silently. Much like the GLSTN movement of Kevin Jennings of fistgate.
When one of the girls in the locker room objects and asserts she is offended by biology boy’s presence...will that be considered ‘hate’ speech?
Just give the mentally ill gay students their own private padded locked room.
Does a boy who asserts he is the teacher get to use the teachers lounge bathroom. This illogical crap is pervasive in the glbt community. It is the antithesis of conservatism. It is crazy liberal gobbledygook.
Send them on a field trip to Uganda.

That moment when regular folk come up to you and say, this is terrible. Why are they doing this? And you turn to them and say, You voted for this? Did you not?

Just wait that will come. There are always consequences and it is always the rest of us that suffer. We already have reporters losing their jobs for even questioning or disagreeing with the glbt movement. Their is a Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy. Don’t Ask Don’t Tell anything bad concerning the glbt community. In the last year we had a Professor at Gay Duke University who received millions in grants for AIDs research who raped his two black adopted sons and tried to pimp one of them over the internet to a cop, we had a gay police officer targeting illegal aliens sexual abuse, we had case involving the drugging and rape of a IT employee by his gay boss come to a close, we had a University Professor with antigay views blackballed from NYU and a case of gay rape of a handicapped military officer, and guess what “crickets”. The march goes on and the cowards in the conservative media continue to allow the march of sexual liberalism to continue as if it doesn’t even exist. Yet they find time to denounce Uganda.

Great points. Indeed, a big problem is that people get focused on an issue, to the neglect of the agenda behind that issue. There is one agenda to be mindful of each and every liberal issue... and that agenda is statism. Crap-n-trade has little to do about carbon/energy; health reform little to do with health insurance and care; squigly lightbulbs and biology-based locker rooms... all this leads to bigger government, less liberty, erosion of property rights.
If I were a parent, I would strongly urge my son to claim to be a tranny and to make every effort to get into the girls locker room, and I would seek other parents to do the same. Overwhelm the system by having 95% of the boys in town register as trannies.

The “transgendered” crowd believes that the plumbing God gave them is inconsistent with who they are. Therefore, I propose three bathrooms:
1. “Boys”
2. “Girls”
3. “God’s Mistakes”
