Mr. Obama’s approach is that we solve every human problem by spending Federal money. Wouldn’t it make more sense to promote more competition in the healthcare industry, so that costs go down?
If we’re going to use anecdotes, my mother suffered a heart attack when she was 43. Two of my brothers have had heart issues, but neither one has suffered an attack, nor have I. I’m far healthier than either of my parents at the same age, and I expect to live a healthier and longer life. Isn’t that progress? And it was progress made without government control.
