Israel receives military and financial assistance, and also some diplomatic support at the United Nations, but the US puts pressure on Israel to surrender parts of the homeland... It seems to me a Ron Paul presidency would be good for Israel and for the United States. Its foreign policy non-interventionism and its concern to protect national sovereignty would provide Israel with a greater impetus to increase its own independence and sense of national honor. I hope American Zionists will resist the immediate, meretricious attractions of American financial assistance for Israel. Ron Paul would both end this infantilizing, and even corrupting, aid and respect Israel's national sovereignty. Taking the long and deep view, Ron Paul should be the Zionist choice."

Thanks for the enlightenment.
I never took Paul seriously enough to do a lot of research. His “positions” just seemed so odd.
Ever since CPAC, I’ve been scratching my head over Paul, “gays” (I really hate the fact that they ruined a perfectly good English word!) and other goings-on at that meeting.
You are welcome.
Glad there are some on FR who have honest questions
and willing to be inormed.

I didn’t take Ron Paul seriously either. He’s a nuisance. I still don’t take him seriously, but his supporters are intrusive and quite rude and pushy. I don’t another way to to describe them. He’s not a serious contender, in that he can’t win but he sure can be counted on to be a distraction and a disruptive force.
Anyway, I’ve enjoyed our conversation. Thank you and good night!
I know only what I know - and sometimes I’m not so sure of that. But some things I am sure of:
Salvation through Jesus.
Freedom through armed strength.
Free market is ALWAYS better than state controlled.
Dogs are better friends and more loyal than most people.
(There maybe a few other truths, but I’ll only think of them when they apply.)
You have a good list.
But I would have to add cats to that.
On that note, we’ll say goodnight.
(OK? FRiends.)
Can you point me to the post that Christian_Capitalist made that you find most offensive?
Then not only are you deaf and blind, but lacking in itellect as well.
Yes, I did prove it.
You just aren’t man enough to admit it.
Two minutes fifty five seconds into the video “Ira wants nukes because they feel threatened”
Right before that he’s talking about how they’re scared because we’re in the area.
DO the math.
blog pimp
what is a blog pimp?
If a blogger wished to inform or show people on freerepublic an article or news item, in what section should it be shown? I selected Bloggers and Personal because Since I was referencing a blog, it only made sense. The screen caps of the stories, I have found a necessary evil because often times the stories are pulled, leaving no way to view that which I referenced.
So maybe I am missing something here.
Could you please explain what the term indicates, and if it is something that is not done then I will try not to do it again.
He doesn’t like his crow.
See his failed attempts to weave out of it at posts 215 and 225.Ron Paultards are so fun to mess with.
A blog pimp will usually post their article as an excerpt in the wrong forum, say news instead of bloggers and personal, and they will try to force their website ‘hits’ up by doing this.
This irritates all of us to no end as many times the excerpt has nothing to do with the actual content of the site you get directed to.
Very astute point that absolutely DESTROYS this poster's "reasoning". The Paultard Libertarians are grossly wrapping themselves in the Sarah Palin "blanket" and using her name for their nefarious and ulterior motives.
Note to Conservatives4Palin - This would be a perfect item for Sarah to put a clear, concise and pointed "rebuke" (tweet, Facebook, wherever) to this lame strategy by the Paultard Libertarians.
I liked a certain poster coming onto the thread at post 177 in a huff with their nose in the air and their hands on their hips to berate us about how we’re treating a moonbat.
And when Rand gets quoted about Iran, that certain poster goes, “Prove it”.
And when proof is posted and they have to eat crow, they turn around and do a Baghdad Bob!
Nevermind that the post they said “Prove it” to had a link to the information to begin with, thus proving that they cannot be bothered to check linked info.
They want it spoon fed to them as they don’t want to run down information for themselves.
People like that vote, and are too lazy to bother checking on things.
I am not sure if what I did qualifies for membership in the Blog Pimp club. Often times, sites will pull their piece, and leave my ‘active’ link to it, as broken. I have been documenting Barry and his short comings since Nov 08 and found it necessary to copy, or convert said pieces to a format I can save. Such as catching Obama’s lie about not having had discussions with Blago about Blago’s choice in replacing Barry’s seat. Since I introduced the piece about the leak of radioactive materials with a comment or lead in,, I felt it would be best to insert it in the “Blogger and personal” forum which I did. I guess if I had not done an intro, then would it have been better to use the News and whatever Forum? So with this in mind, how much of what you said about blog pimp am I ‘guilty of’ and, again, what should I have done, in your eyes, to avoid being placed into some sort of negative light?
