Reason #73443948394843562343 why we need tort reform NOW.
Ridiculous.
Wow, now this is a reach.
Let’s remember that the man who was killed served two tours in Vietnam. He is the aggrieved party.
I can’t blame his family.
That sure didn’t take long!
No case. This will go no where in the court.
...were the 9-11 victim’s families able to sue the Saudis?...I can’t remember.
Lawyers will do all right money-wise with this one. *SIGH*
A relative of the Jersey Girls?
What about a counter-suit? Suppose the victim "had a bad feeling" about going to work that day but didn't heed it and his wife told him to go? Who do you sue then?
Ridiculous
“alleging she she knew or should have known that her husband was a threat to others”
And exactly what was she suppose to have done about it? They don’t put crazy people in the loony bin anymore...
Before I'd go suing these people for their last nickel, I'd find out if any other family members took flying lessons.
She should counter sue: The idiot works for the IRS and drove her husband to his death.
This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard!
The pilot's wife should sue the IRS employee's wife (she worked for the IRS also) for helping to drive her husband to suicide.
This is wrong and should be impossible to win. But- a jury of liberal idiots would probably agree with it!
Better yet, why doesn't she also sue the architect of the building? It's obvious the structure was not safe. It couldn't withstand a teeny tiny plane flying into it.
I hope she loses the case. The other wife (who also lost a husband)should counter sue because the dead husband worked for IRS. He should have known that it's a dangerous job and therefore should have picked a more people friendly job, such as pizza delivery.
Yeah, I hope she loses. Maybe it's time for her to get a real job instead of a quick buck and making another widow miserable. If she had any decency, she'd comfort that wife. But no, she want to place a money amount on her husband. Greedy little *itch.
Good to see John Edwards has found some honest work these days. *SMIRK* ;)
Barry Green: Have you been in an accident? Have you witnessed an accident? Have you suffered psychological damage from hearing someone describe an accident he saw?
Hello, I’m Barry Green, of the law firm of Green & Fazio, here with another Litigation Myth.
Myth #4: You cannot file for an accident in which you were not involved. False.
We at Green & Fazio realize that when an accident occurs, it’s not just those involved who suffer. That’s why we’ve pioneered in whole new areas of accident litigation, including Bystander Trauma, Phantom Whiplash, and Near-Collision Stress Disorder. Why not come in for a free consultation and let us help you collect the money you didn’t even realize you were entitled to?
Maybe Stack should have flown his plane into a building housing a lawyers’ convention instead?
