(CNN) -- The widow of an Internal Revenue Service employee killed when a disgruntled taxpayer flew his plane into a seven-story building in Austin, Texas, last week is suing the pilot's wife, according to court documents.

Valerie Hunter, the wife of Vernon Hunter, is accusing Sheryl Stack, wife of Andrew Joseph "Joe" Stack III, of negligence, alleging she she knew or should have known that her husband was a threat to others and, thus, could have prevented the attack, according to the lawsuit filed Monday in Travis County District Court.

How could she "know" or "should have known" something like that? Wives are not mind-readers, sorry.

How come some wives think that their husbands should be able to read their minds?

Maybe, unless she profits from the crime.

If she writes a book and makes a mint, she doesn't owe the other widow a penny. Unless, of course, she was in on it, in which case she belongs in the can.

I was cowardly, And you explained that all well.
I see his family as victims too.

Why should a bunch of blood suckers get involved in this tragedy?

The ultimate blood suckers are going to be the Oparahs in the media cesspool, and I agree Mrs. Stack nor anyone else but Joe is to blame. He dumped on taxpayers, that's who pays for all of this. Legally, victims are the survivors of the murdered. Immediate family, I think.

How many times has a grieving widow been told not to make any major decisions in the short term?

I cannot fault the widow of the IRS agent. I certainly would be out for blood if my world was turned upside down. Still, I cannot fault the widow of the pilot either. What could she have done?

I do fault the attorney that took the case and filed the suit while her husband was still (figuratively) warm. Granted, I am a legal idiot, but it seems to me any attorney with a strong sense of ethics would have explained her options while advising her to take it slow.

But for a legal whore this would mean:
1. She might change her mind.
2. She would find a different attorney.

I am stating that if deliberate destruction of life or property on an insurance plan was found out that the policy would not pay, and in this case the guy didn’t do squat to cover his tracks. He was stone cold crazy.

I highly doubt this was in collusion with his wife for a settlement.

Mrs Stack wont get a penny, if any life insurance or home insurance was in place.

Perhaps the pilot’s daughter coming out and saying her father was a hero (or something to that effect) pushed the the grieved widow over the edge on this one? Pure speculation.

What clause or exception are you referring to. I cannot find one.

He CHOSE to work for the IRS. Whatever meritorious mention he might deserve for his Vietnam service, it is more than balanced out by that.

You’ve got to have larceny in your heart to feed at any government trough, but a special place in hell is reserved for those that choose to work for the Gestapo.

What if she writes a book and lo and behold it sells. Should she profit?

Since the crazy loon's wife is not the killer, the fabled "Son of Sam" law may not apply here. The money would be hers. That's why they are suing her now, to attach future earnings.

If the case is not dismissed, they may win and get a judgment. The likely scenario is that the crazy loon's wife will be unable to pay that judgment. The only asset she may have had was the house that crazy loon burned down. In all likelihood, nobody will get anything, including her. He already made sure of that.
