I am disappointed in it but not surprised. He is a Masschusetts Republican and will have to play one to keep getting elected.

He was the one that was responsible for shutting down Obamacare.

I can take $15B over taking over our whole lives with gov’t run health care.

Anyone with a brain knew that Brown would be a huge RINO who would be useless in the conservative’s fight for restoring our Constitutional freedoms.

So what?

His being a RINO is missing the point. The significance of his STUNNING win filling “Ted Kennedy’s Seat” is that those voters automatically elect the most rabid far-left socialist running in the election. By voting for the least liberal person running, it shows a massive dynamic shift against supporting Obama and his agenda.

That is the significance. Every one of you were warned by me and others that Scott Brown would be an Olympia Snow type RINO. You should have known.

Said in posts like this one...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2434943/posts

The significance is not that we have a new RINO in the Senate, but that it came at the expense of a perpertually socialist senate seat. It is not that Brown is a conservative, but that Brown is not a deep socialist.

Coming from Ted Kennedy’s seat, that is hugely significant and should send a message to the Dems of the upcoming bloodpath in November. If John-John had not Chappaquiddicked his plane, he probably would have walked right into that seat.

RINO Brown’s victory is Hugh.

I am so sorry I donated to him.

If $787 Billion doesn’t create jobs, why would 15 billion more ?

Shame on Brown, he seems just like Obama to me.

BIG PICTURE, folks! Remember it.

Brown’s blocking a die-hard communist like Ted Kennedy from a Masshole seat is a huge victory. There is nothing wrong with having RINOs in traditional socialist hard-left seats.

This is a GOOD THING. Brown is not the problem. He done good for us in Masshollachewsits.

The RINOs to scorn, chase and crush are the ones blocking good Conservatives in conservative districts.

Please don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. A Mass RINO is a good thing. It is a Pennsylvania or Alaska or Wyoming RINOs we need to defeat. I’ll take Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland and California, etc... RINOs all day long, and twice on Sunday, as about the best we are going to get from those corrupted communist states.

Lets get RINOs in the blue states, Conservatives in our RED-blooded patriotic states, and get our Constitutional freedoms back and not let the socialists hijack SCOTUS.

My best hopes for Obama are being realized: his over-reaching is waking the nation’s wishy-washy independent middle to the damage socialism is doing to our country.

A $15 Billion “jobs” bill on top of everything else Congress has done since 01/20/09 is a drop in the bucket. Anyone suppose they’re picking their battles, and that perhaps the purpose of this is to grab a headline that debunks the Democrat’s “Party of Obstruction” manta that will be forthcoming after the ObamaCare summit this week?

Republican Scott Brown joined four other Republicans, 55 Democrats and two independents

Misleading, this is not the vote for the actual bill, but one of the steps leading to the vote for the actual bill, correct? Who were the other 4 Republicans that voted to advance this bill?

I would only add one thing.

Brown is the best we can do in a Mass seat. He is NOT what we want in a politician, but he is a good value for us as 1 of 100 US Senators.

But the Romneybots may now begin to understand why Romney is a danger for us. Romney is to the Presidency is what Brown is to the Senate. It is a help to us to have a RINO block a socialist from a Mass senate seat. It is NOT a help to have a RINO like Romney be sole elected president.

Please DO NOT BROWN US with Mitt Romney.

It didn’t take Scott Brown long to prove Glenn Beck right to Bill Bennett.

From Scott Brown's facebook page...

“I came to Washington to be an independent voice, to put politics aside, and to do everything in my power to help create jobs for Massachusetts families. This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I am voting for it because it contains measures that will help put people back ...to work. ... I hope for improvements in that process going forward.”

Color me NOT surprised. Hello, Massachusetts?

Besides I think this will be a good thing (except for the crushing debt) because their emphasis on “jobs” which will not pan out will twist the knife in the back of the Democratic agenda once and for all and will be the death knell for a Zero second term.

I’d like to read the bill, and hear what some other Conservatives have to say, before I pass judgment.

I am disappointed.

There have been some signs of weakness in Seantor Brown. First, he seemd very much full of himself when he arrived in Washington. Pride goeth before the fall.
I always have had the slight suspicion that Mr, Brown was a little light in the upper storeys.

I will call his office tomorrow (202-224-4543) and see what is up. I will also tell whomever answers that it is time for the Senator, now a big boy, to learn that government spending never “makes jobs” — not except by destroying other ones. There will be no net gain from this bill.

Making jobs is not a purpose for government under our Constitution. They should not even try.

In the big scheme of things, this is nothing. $15B ain’t squat. As long as he helps stop the $1 trillion Obama Deathcare bill that is all I care about at this point.

It’s all perception at this point. If this bill was stopped we’d hear the GOP obstructionists killed jobs bill. Normally, I’d say who cares, but we need the focus on Obamacare. Save the obstruction for the health bill. Once that baby is dead then they can block until their heart’s content.
