CPAC betrays America on immigration
World Net Daily ^ | February 20, 2010 | Tom Tancredo

Posted on 02/20/2010 3:43:54 PM PST by Pan_Yan

It's that time of year again. Pundits, pollsters and lobbyists are gathering in the nation's capital to tell conservative activists how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

...

This year, the Beltway leaders of conservatism are racing hard to catch up with a parade they did not launch and cannot control. Across America, grass-roots patriots and anti-Obama protests have changed the political landscape in ways conservatism's entrenched Beltway Politburo did not anticipate.

...

The greatest threat in 1960 was international – how to deal with the threat of Soviet communism and the "missile gap" – and anti-communism was the unifying force among conservatives. Today, by contrast, the question of how to respond to the threat from radical Islam got barely a mention in CPAC forums. Indeed, as columnist Michelle Malkin has pointed out, some of CPAC's leaders have voiced support for Obama's insane policy of treating captured terrorists like ordinary criminals with full Miranda rights.

The best example of how CPAC 2010 has failed the conservative movement is CPAC's attempt to redefine (sabotage would be a more accurate term) the potent issues of illegal immigration and border security. Whereas grass-roots conservatives and millions of 912 patriots – along with 80 percent of the American people – understand the need for border security as a precondition for immigration reform, CPAC board member Grover Norquist is busy launching a new project in support of the Obama administration's plan to grant another amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens. Neither border control nor immigration enforcement was included as a topic for any of the CPAC general sessions.

...

What all this tells us is that it is not only the Republican Party that is suffering an identity crisis. So is conservatism.

CPAC betrayed the GOP and America by letting RomneyCARE,
the GOP’s Backstabber, in —to be the turd in the punchbowl.

This will pretty much do it for me now with CPAC. They’re done and they can follow Grover right down the toilet bowl swirl...

I don’t know what it is. Conservatives generally don’t want political power by their nature. So ‘conservative leader’ tends to be an oxymoron. What you end up with is a bunch of people who DO want political power adopting conservatism so they can obtain political power. But once they get political power they stop being conservative, because being conservative is not in their political self interest.

Why, oh why, did we ever let ‘politician’ become a career choice?

Grover Norquist is not a conservative, and never has been.

I wasn't aware that Grover Norquist dictated anything conservative...Who put him in charge. He's going to "launch a amnesty plan" just like he launches tax plans....

Grover Norquist CPAC board member a conservative or just another Obama progressive? You CPAC clowns decide... if you're capable.

Now, Now, Freepers. Let’s stop whining and go take over the Republican party, one precinct at a time.

Politics is local, after all.

CPAC is nice, but local control of the GOP is crucial.

CPAC reminds me of riding in an elevator and someone farts. Not a loud one, mind you, but a smelly one. What was going to be a great ride in the elevator (CPAC) turned out to be disgusting!

We’ve been infiltrated. Another thing that commies do very well.

CPAC highlighted the commie infiltration of the Republican Party like we couldn't have done with a billion dollar advertising budget:

1) Ron Paul's barking moonbats with their "America Loses" foreign policy and willingness to hand the country over to Obama rather than actually win any elections.

2) Romney's global communist Free Traitor agenda, and his staff's covert media and blog attacks against conservative Republicans (most notably against Sarah Palin).

3) GOProud's gay agenda following their vicious media and blog attacks against conservative Republicans (most notably against Sarah Palin).

CPAC RINOs are not representative of even 10% of the party.

“CPAC board member Grover Norquist is busy launching a new project in support of the Obama administration’s plan to grant another amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens. Neither border control nor immigration enforcement was included as a topic for any of the CPAC general sessions.”

GRover Norquist, muslim convert, author of the Bush amnesty, who stated he wants to be a ‘squishy middle of the roader’.
Why this guy has never been indicted over his various scams and associations is just beyond me.

His latest idiocy....endorsing McCain’s run.

Is Grover Norquist an Islamist?

With connections and money he can secure protection for himself. It is entirely possible to wear a suit, do no personal violence and be a Jihadist.

What a refreshing post, from one who understands what must be done.

Thank You.
