The communist creed:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed:
From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

He talked politics, but not like that guy we all have met or know who we suspect will possibly go postal or shoot up a shopping mall. I don't think that the Air America hosts were going to go postal either but I do believe them all to be batsh!t crazy and antiAmerican.

I am just surprised that no one has not blamed it on Sarah’s endorsement of McCain yet. I am sure someone will soon.

He bashes Bush, Capitalism and the Catholic Church. No mention of Obama. I’ll bet $100 bucks he was a registered Democrat. There's no party registration in Texas. Any registered voter can vote in any party primary, but once you vote in a primary, you can't vote in any other party's runoff. It's also illegal to run as a candidate in one party but vote in a different party's primary. The most important ramification of voting in a party primary is that one can't then sign a petition to get an independent candidate on the general election ballot for November. Some elective offices in Texas require gathering of signatures in lieu of or as well as paying a fee to get on the primary ballot. In that case, signatures must be from persons who voted in that party's primary in the previous election cycle.

"I won't call him "right-wing" or "left-wing" and will just say this guy was nuts. " The guy was obviously very articulate and comparatively well educated. So when he ends his so-called "manifesto" with this below, I think it leaves no doubt of his political ideology. He's bashing Capitalism and cozying-up to Communism.
The communist creed:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed:
From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

Yes, an obvious liberal who felt betrayed and wanted to strike out. Lived in San Fran and Austin, what more proof is needed.

Anybody who would blaim Stack's suicide mission on Limbaugh, Palin, or the GOP, is purely agenda-driven and not looking at the facts. Welcome to much of the progressive electorate...agenda driven and devoid of facts. (aka lying)

I read his letter. Here are his complaints against the IRS
- His first run in with the IRS was because in the 1980's he apparently tried to use some tax exemptions that religious organizations use. Resulting cost was $40,000, claims it cost 10 years of his life but it doesn't sound like he went to prison so this seems exagerated. He did lose his retirement funds.
- He didn't like section 1706 of the 1986 tax reform act, although his rant doesn't say why. He does say that he was basically a "slave". (My Note: that's a slave that owns a Cessna) And that he spent $5000 and lots of time battling that section of code to no avail. And lost his retirement again. He doesn't say that he was penalized, only that he feels this section was an unfair tax on his chosen profession.
- Third run in, came after he moved to Austin and didn't file claiming he had no income. IRS apparently disagreed. He said the IRS didn't notify him in time to file a protest with the court.
- Fourth run in, blamed his tax accountant for leaving out $12,700 of his wife's income on his taxes and turn-coating on him during the audit. This seems to be the current complaint.
Other Rants
- His neighbor lost his steel mill pension and medical care through business failure and union mismanagement.
- 1990's apparently lost his job and house due to government closing Air Force bases. Lost his retirement again.
- .Com Bust
- Government's response to 911 air safety rules made contacting his clients prohibitively expensive. Lost his business but not his retirement.
- Claimed that wages were held down in Austin due to colusion between 4 large companies and that the Justice dept was complicit. Used the rest of his retirement again due to low wages.
- Rants against the rich.
- Rants against elections being a joke.
- Rants against the FAA but nothing specific.

What do you expect? They are all crazy ass delusional retards that lie at the drop of a hat to keep their dumbass construct of them being innocent “intellectual” victims, perpetuated.
DemoLefties are all friggin nutbag pervert liars, and they are so retarded, they actually believe their own lies, even when they are the ones who made them up!
Liberals are a seath cult whose members are too stupid to survive truely adverse times. They are all inevitable mass grave statistics.
‘B Ark-ers’ to their genetic cores.

The author says he isn't going to blame this guy on Limbaugh, but he still gets it wrong.
Joseph Andrew Stack (gotta love how the media always includes the middle name) was a middle-aged man who tired of the political system and felt like yet another little guy that was neglected by Uncle Sam.
If you read his "manifesto" he basically screwed up his taxes a bunch and got penalized for it and wasn't a successful businessman.
It was a personal grudge, not a political statement.

I really detest that Keep Austin Weird thing. Whenever I see someone wearing a t-shirt with that on it, I want to throw up.
Since I live in a suburb of Austin, I have to go there often, and I’m a little turned off by a city that has residents wanting to keep their city weird.

Sad thing is we’ll get more of this type of desperate act in the future. This guy is a nut, but too many in this nation are conditioned now to look to the government to be their savior, and the government will never deliver as promised.
