When the tea partiers take a close look at Mr. Hayworths record and see all of his earmarks and all of his ties to Jack Abramoff, theyll find a record that demands scrutiny, McCain says. We have the letters and legislative records to prove it. And we will. At the same time, Im proud of my record as a conservative and for taking on my party on spending and earmarks. When tea partiers examine my fiscal record, theyll find a friend. We may have disagreement on some issues, but Im confident that we will get significant support. McCain adds that the tea-party movement is part of a groundswell of frustration with which he identifies. A majority of Americans are angry about their economic situation and the failure of Congress and the president to act on their behalf. I want to keep fighting for their interests, he says.
McCain also frowns on Hayworths getting mired in the debate over President Obamas birth certificate. With unemployment at 10 percent, our country engaged in two wars, and Arizona hurting more than ever, Mr. Hayworth obviously has his priorities upside down, McCain says.

To counter Hayworths growing support, McCain has enlisted Sen. Scott Brown (R., Mass.) and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign, to stump for him in the Grand Canyon State. He would also like to bring in Mitt Romney, his former opponent for the GOP presidential nomination. Id really appreciate it if Mitt Romney came, McCain says. Wed really like to have him. We havent made any specific arrangement yet, but Id like to see that. He is a man I respect.

RINOs of a feather...
make that wrinkled old hide...
WOW! Hats off to you - that was quick! Thanks.
“Im just saying that judging people based on endorsements, or labelling endorsements as indicative of peoples character, doesnt always yield useful results.”
I agree that endorsements can make strange bedfellows. However, my point is that it makes sense that a chameleon like Romney would back a “maverick” like McLame. It’s not nearly as logical that conservatives would. Nevertheless, I trust that Arizona conservatives will be able to sort out whether Hayworth or McLame is the more reliable conservative irrespective of endorsements.
I would really like to see McCain address a Tucson Tea Party crowd! An evening of Joe Wilson acknowledgments permeated by the smell of hot tar and feathers of yardbird.
Congratulations John M. You’ve done more to destroy the political credibility of Sarah Palin than Kos, Olberman and Matthews could ever have hoped for.
My pleasure, FRiend. What a carnival side show this administration is.
E-mail these to JD. why don’t you. No telling might be helpful.
......”If you identify with the TPM, then swing to the right and MEAN it John”.....
I wouldn’t believe him if he did that Syncro...I blame him for us having BO as Pres. and all the crap that’s happening since. He could of easy slammed Bo in the election and instead he layed down and rolled over like a dog would before his master....
I would vote for anyone other than McCain...he cheapens everything about politics and congress and the GOP...and his stench has already affected Palin. I hope he does cozy up with Rommney..like two peas in a pod...and the quicker Palin gets past this creep the better!
If you read the article I noted above from Kos, McCain squirrels the damning stuff away and brings it out to use for his own needs when it is convenient to him. To my mind that is abuse of power...
TY FRiend. So even KOS is helping? Hmmm ....
No way I’d EVER trust McCain to ‘shift to the right’.
Here ya go little grinning Johnny, the REAL you.
......If you identify with the TPM, then swing to the right and MEAN it John.....I agree with you completely.I wouldnt believe him if he did that Syncro...I blame him for us having BO as Pres. and all the crap thats happening since. He could of easy slammed Bo in the election and instead he layed down and rolled over like a dog would before his master....
Bear in mind that when I said "MEAN it John", I am talking about an epiphany.
Where he changes into a total Conservative, nothing less
He gave up on the run for the Presidency, and gave it to Obama.
Then PRAISED him.
That did it for me, and most other conservative Americans.
It would be a miracle, a miracle I tell ya!
: > )
What has McLame done about the problems of our country. It is time for him to step aside.
I’m not a giant fan of politicians who are only 59% Conservative.
But I have to tip my hat, man to man, to McCain. The man has absolutely no quit in him.
That will get you pretty far in life by itself. No principles, no talent....no problem.
Getting back up after being beaten by foreign and domestic enemies...that’s the American spirit.
I still would never vote for him. But I admire him.
OMG, I just remembered...I did vote for him.

See what money can buy. Poorly spent money at that.
Another old guy who ought to retire IMHO.
