I just started using Google Chrome to try it and I keep getting a warning that Freerepublic.com is a site that links to patriotsden and that Patriotsden hosts malware
check post 13
Could it be your settings? My daughter uses Chrome on her laptop and I’ve accessed FR with it without a problem.
That looks more like some page elements on FreeRepublic originating from Patriotden is being deemed malware, and not FreeRepublic itself.
my title and explanation are different, I agree, but it wouldn’t let me go to my pings page because it linked to malware
I could NOT type all that in the title, not enough letters allowed
So Google, and Chrome, think ideas are “malware.” And are spreading the word that ideas are malware. Very interesting, very Big Brother.
I just checked MSN.com right now and typed in freerepublic.com and it showed up just fine. They use the Bing search engine for results.
I have Chrome and I’ve never seen this warning regarding FR.
My GC is up to date: 4.0.249.89. All my warnings come from my anti-virus software, and I don't think GC has any built-in malware or anti-virus feature.
Not just Chrome. Safari has also identified Patriotden as a Malware site.
I totally killed all google aps when their ceo kissed obama’s ass during the election. His nose is still right there, I’m sure.
see post 13
Weird.
Not happening to my version of Chrome. It is very fast an works well for FR.
My malware / security is free stuff like MS security esstentials , spy bot, etc etc.
Check your setting or get MRU blaster to counter such.
Hope it works for ya.
Btw try Ccleaner to !
Stay Safe
I have a tab open to patriotden and haven’t found anything malicious.
I just saw a note on facebook from a debate moderator who said that a student didn’t win because he used Fox News as a source for information on the Health Care bill.
They’re getting desperate.
I totally killed all google aps when their ceo kissed obamas ass during the election.
That make two of us.
I went through all parts of my PC and erased every-thing Google connected. If I go to a web sight and see the Google logo I e-mediately leave.
Safari popped up a link that took me to this warning.

Eeeew! You’re using Outlook Express!
Just seeing it running and minimized is making me feel slightly ill.
