It turns out that crackpot Ron Pauls son Rand can understand why poor, innocent Iran might want nuclear weaponsthey feel threatened by big, bad America (hat tip to Rand Paul: Too Kooky for Kentucky for the video):

“Rand Paul: Iran Wants Nukes Because It Feels Threatened
Done before election day, eh Mr. Paul? That’s too bad, now your state will be saddled with a POSRINO.
Why are aliens always nekkid?
What about Rand Paul’s statement could any fair minded person disagree with? Iran is being threatened by the US and Israel on practically a daily basis. If you were the government of Iran, wouldn’t you have good reason to arm up?
Too late ... the damage is done.
Because you are putting the cart before the horse. The US and Israel threaten Iran because Iran has constantly made statements about wanting to 'wipe Israel off the map' and are are a major funding source to terrorist organizations such as Hammas.
They do not want nukes because they are threatened. They want nukes because they want to be the threat.
Rand Paul doesn’t agree with Alex Jones on the 9/11 issues. But if he or other conservatives took that position that they could only be interviewed by people who already agreed with them on everything, they would have a much tougher time getting their message out. Heck, they wouldn’t be able to appear in most of the liberal mainstream media either.
uh oh ... acorn/tree.
“Too late. Shes already explicitly and publicly endorsed him. Hell win the primary, too.”
Great. If that happens the socialists will be able to say “Repubs are crazy” and they won’t be wrong.
I’m now invoking Godwin’s Law.
I would have bet money on that one and couldn’t figure out why people were supporting him on here except it tells me there are a lot of Paul Bots on this site.
Out of context. He was speaking about what his father thinks, not what he thinks. He also was talking about why nation-building doesnt work.
Right after he said what is quoted here, he reiterated that Ahmadinejad is a nut.
It is NOT (imo) what he said as much as WHERE and to WHOM he said it. He’s now got truther taint on him.
“Paul doesnt agree with Alex Jones on the 9/11 issues”
I’m sorry I don’t believe that. Jones has less than zero credibility. Being interviewed by him shows a serious lack of judgement, at best.
“Shoosh, let the RNC lemmings here continue to make fools of themselves.”
Why? Were they the brain dead morons that suggested Rand rub elbows with that loser Alex Jones?
Ruh Roh. He put on a good front for awhile. His dippy hippy slip is showing now.
Jones is the father of the truther movement. Anyone who even gives him the time of day gives him a de facto endorsement of his ideas.
roflolololololololololol
Oak tree... acorn... falls at base.
LLS
Like another poster already said, it was an interview. If you are trying to get a message out would you turn down interviews? We know what kind of crowd listens to alex jones. Maybe, just maybe, he is trying to get them to think objectively.
