Former Vice President Dick Cheney came out in favor of repealing "Don't ask, don't tell," (DADT) today.
Cheney said that the support of military leaders had convinced him that it was time for a change.
"Twenty years ago the military were strong advocates of 'Don't ask, don't tell.' I think things have change significantly since then," Cheney said on ABC's "This Week."
I think that society has moved on. It's partly a generational question," he continued. "When the [Joint] Chiefs come forward and say 'we think we can do it,' is strikes me that it's time to reconsider the policy."

1. Homosexuals are NOT “everywhere”. At most 2% of the population. Plus there are many former homosexuals.
2. Homosexuals who flaunt their perverse behavior and push their agenda on everyone else are the ones who need to change their ways, not normal people. The homosexual agenda is all about changing society to suit a tiny percentage of the population who suffers from mental illness.
3. Dragging Jesus’ name into the discussion as though he would be promoting the homosexual agenda is not going to work here.
4. Self righteousness has nothing to do with this discussion.
What is happening to FR when trolls like have no fear of getting banned.
It’s insane.
If she answers, ping me.
don't ask don't tell don't matter.Ones sexual preference should not be a issue for military service.
God makes no such distinction.
A major distinction of homosexuality is that they defines them self by the sin, celebrate it and make great effort to lead others down the sinful pathway.
The idea that all sin is equal is one I’ve never read anywhere.
But your point about identifying with sin, glorying in it, promoting it, and leading others into it I of course agree wtih!
Ty and you are correct~~~~
heres a great verse in Romans..For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God....
I find no fault as I am one too.
that is what you said about Cheney’;s homo daughter, now as I am one too says to me that you were implying you are a homo.
you see homosexuality is about a mental sick mind, there is nothing normal about a woman wearing a strap on and then pretending she is a man
would you agree?
Your fish is pointed backards.
It is swimming in the wrong direction.
Just like you.
What does that have to do with homosexuals in the military - nothing, actually.
Ah, enlighten me. It seems you have first hand knowledge.
Please cite me some sources that are not associated with a religious source. Something along the line of a sociological or psychological profile.
might surprise you that many of us do not even look upon ourselves as Christians or even religious, most I now are not religious and yet I can tell you that they all think homosexuality is disgusting, not normal and certainly not natural.
To clear this up seeing as you go back and forth with others
do you think homosexuality should be accepted in society?
are you a homosexual?.
should homosexuals serve in the military and openly?
should homosexuality be seen as it was as a mental disorder and where they need help?
I look forward to our answers
thank you
yes i would agree with you~~~
thanks I’ll grab my fishing poll~~~~~lol
I’ve been trying to share knowledge about the truth of homosexuality on FR since 2002. To tell you the truth, I’m tired of trying to educate people.
Check out scripter’s profile page, he has tons of reading material (I’ve learned a lot from him).
Wrong. There are different levels of sin mentioned in both old and new testaments. Some is an abomination...others don't reach that level. One is unforgiveable. Jesus said it would be better for Tyre/Sidon than for Jerusalem.
That said, Cheney is wrong.
