I have just seen the light and become more even conservative than Jim Thompson

Sort-of-ping to a reply where you were sort-of mentioned.

Run for office: SHIFT RIGHT
Get elected: SHIFT LEFT

I'm tired of this.

And as soon as he is re-elected (assuming that happens), he will again stick his middle finger at conservatives as he rushes to greet his friends across the aisle.

[I wish Hayworth well, but incumbency is difficult to beat. Maybe this year there is enough dissatisfaction with incumbency to clean out the House and Senate. Hopefully.]

Why not enjoy a few years in retirement? Enjoy life. Enjoy his whiney little daughter, and his bleached out rich wife. Oh, I see, it IS about power. M-kay.

Waaaay too late for the media-loving “Maverick”.
He was unreliable when it counted in Congress.

John McCain has moved to the right on several hot-button issues

He's just put on a different mask for the moment. Don't expect it to stick.

Let them laugh at the “leaderless and ineffectual” Tea Party Movement. Its working better than if it were planned. That’s because it is a populist (and leaderless) movement whose focus is not a person but an idea ... the Restoration and Protection of the Constitution. This shows the “idea” is more powerful than “the man.”

McCAin’s latest legislative nonsense! (NOT moving to the right!)

Disappointing McCain push to ban supplements & herbs

* Posted by Dr. Mary in West Virginia on February 11, 2010 at 1:23am

[snip]Once again herbalists, health food consumers, and those who wish an alternate choice for their own healthcare decisions are under fire. It seems John McCain of all people wants to ban supplements and herbs from health food stores and in commercial establishments.

This is an extreme disappointment. John McCain had stood by the Conservative base in opposing all things Obama, but this seems to be a huge jump on the Obama bandwagon that is limping along to take our health freedoms away. Maybe its time for McCain to retire? Please contact your reps to oppose this.

Anyone opposing such a measure has no idea who uses alternative medicine. It is lifegiving for many groups: those who have chemical sensitivities to AMA drugs; those who have multi-chemical sensitive allergies to our environments; those who have been hurt by taking a rushed-to-market bad drug; children; animals; the elderly who are so adversely affected by over-medicating; those who have worked in the drug companies and know the junk they put in these drugs; those who have addictions and wish to never take a drug again; and those of us who know the dangers of chemicals and wish/choose for a better, healthier lifestyle in a free country.

McCain strikes another blow to freedom! Legislation alert!

Bill filed as Senate Bill S 3002. Follow it at: http://www.thomas.gov and search for that bill number.

I worked as a volunteer for the McCain campaign: put up signs, contributed money, made phone calls(what a joke: half of them were no longer on this earth)and even went door to door with literature(risking losing limbs to rabid Lib dogs). The only memmorable event was when I had a large, fun filled Sarah Palin debate watching party at my home.
I now realize that a waste of time it was to invest any of my time, energy or funds in RINO candidate who was disorganized and unwilling to do what was necessary to win, including dissing Obama for his radical friends.
I will never again support a candidate who is not a hard core Conservative. Oh and I just sent a check to JD. Anyone else?

It is impossible to trust McCain when it comes to conservative issues. You can never be certain where he stands, or what he will do. He loves being praised by the liberal elite media as a maverick, but I don’t want a maverick. I want a conservative that I can depend upon.

I have lost all respect for McLame and this is another reason why . He sounds like a real conservative lately ,,, I wonder why ,,, could it be an up coming election cycle ?

We need to get rid of McCain , Grahm , Snow , Collins etc. If you are not a “ Constitutional Conservative “ get out of the GOP and perhaps go the way of Arlen Spectical ,, but please go . Dim bulbs like McCain may cause conserv. republicans to leave the GOP and Mike Steele is not a very good party Chairman at all ,, which leads me to believe that there will be a party split and total disaray in the November GOP elections . Great for the DIMs ,,, bad for the country .

Anybody who believes that this jerk is really going to STAY to the right after being elected AGAIN is out of his mind. In fact, I can’t imagine that even the stupidest voters could believe it at this point, after a lifetime track record of betrayals.

It’s not as if this is some young politician vowing to turn over a new leaf. He has spent a lifetime showing us every wart.

Go Hayworth! Kick McCain's arse to the curb!

My question is : Where did the 5 million dollars come from?

Who is putting up that kind of money to get this RINO re-elected?

Certainly it isnt coming from Conservatives.
