Medina is facing off in a GOP primary with Gov. Rick Perry and U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Medina's absurd comments to Beck about U.S. government involvement in 9/11 included this gem:
"I dont have all of the evidence there, Glenn, so Im not in a place, I have not been out publicly questioning that. I think some very good questions have been raised in that regard, there are some very good arguments and I think the American people have not seen all the evidence there, so I have not taken a position on that."
Perry and Hutchinson immediately ripped Medina for such ignorant comments

After listening to that, I’d say the our Tea Party Movement has been penetrated by a left-wing mole; but, I don’t think a mole would be that stupid, or, dare I say truthful?
Soooooooooooooo...........your stance is that her inability to quite simply answer a question that is so f**cking obvious is Beck’s fault?
You........have a MAJOR problem.
I’m not a Texan, so I don’t have a horse in the race. But just MHO. I’ve been listening to Beck since 2000 (he was our local guy back then.) He does not ask a question “accidentally.” He asked the question because he knew she’d waffle on the answer. Why/how he knew she’d waffle is anybody’s guess. Pat Gray was a radio host in Texas for years before he joined Glenn’s staff...maybe he knew something. But it wasn’t an out of the blue, has nothing to do with anything, oh, and by the way, question...I’ll guarantee that. Her answer proved she had an issue with it, even her explanation of her answer is vague.
Sounds like there are a lot of Perry supporters on this post dishing Medina. Unfortunately for Medina, if she were in a runoff they would play this Beck interview over and over.
Politics is such a dirty game.
It’s weak, but I don’t see her being a “truther.”
(For the record, I can’t vote in Texas.)
“...and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11.”
.
Not many American politicians would dare to make such statement for fear of ‘offending’ Islam — even the truth is hard to declare for them.
>> Glenn Beck was rude and cut her off and did not ask her anything about the campaign. This was not a fair interview. This wasnt even an interview.
After that answer, there were really no more questions to ask. Like Beck, I couldn’t care less about her thoughts on Perry or Hutchinson, her property tax arguments, or any other issues.
Her answer was a dealbreaker, and there is really nothing else she could’ve said. She completely eliminated the necessity for the rest of the interview.

I don’t live in Texas (any more; I’m native born Texan and lived there many years) and I’m not a “Perrybot”.....and you, FRiend, are a damned fool. Don’t ask me to embarrass you further here in public and explain why.
I'm just saying that if her website statement is a true reflection of her views (and not just morning-after CYA), then she should have spoken out plainly.
She chose to dance and squirm and hem and haw and "nuance" it, and came out looking like a nutcase.
Plain speaking is what we need, not nuance.
Welcome to the Pros, Rookie.

“...your folks from the unqualified Medina campaign”
I’m in California, with an opinion on Medina, and Republicans repeating the same mistakes that brought us 0bama.
I can see your brand of “conservative” finds it all to easy to compromise in the direction of baby-killers (Scott Brown) but find her questioning the government’s ability to do evil too much to stomach.
“Baby-killers? We can handle that. Question the benevolence of our politicians? Burn her!”
Who are the real whackjobs?
Nice priorities, GOP.
Makin’ yourselves proud, I’m sure.
It’s a shame if this crushes her, as:
Kay Barely Texan is probably the worst example of the big-government graft machine as exists.
Gov. GoodHair is, as noted by Pissant, “Romney in Shitkickers” who merely pretends to be conservative every 5 years.
Remember the HPV mandate, highway givewaways, etc?
I would think Perry would ultimately win, but I really wanted Medina to be in a run-off with him, so as to keep him off the national stage.
Israeli.
Why/how he knew shed waffle is anybodys guess.

Glenn Beck transcript, Medina interview:
GLENN: I have when I said that I was going to have you on, you cant imagine the mail pro and con that I received. There was a theme that ran against you and that is you are a 9/11 Truther.
Nice work, humblegunner!
I do wonder why we aren’t allowed to wonder about the events of 911.
I mean we know the government lies cheats steals etc... when it comes to everyday affairs. Most of us don’t trust the government to do a competent job at anything - but on this one issue - we have to accept whatever we are told?
We can’t have any questions at all - or else we are kooks?
Doesn’t make sense to me.
Listen, no need for name calling!
