Please. She's backpedaling. There are many conservative politicians that would have no problem making that exact statement -- and would've done so in response to the damn question, rather than in a CYA statement. She’s a brave woman, and a credit to this nation (/sarc).

Please. She’s backpedaling. There are many conservative politicians that would have no problem making that exact statement — and would’ve done so in response to the damn question, rather than in a CYA statement. I’m pretty sure Perry’s one of them.
