Who listened to Debra Medina on Beck and came away disgusted. She basically admitted that she is a 911 Truther.
Her run has ended
Maybe the next time people will take a closer look before jumping on board someone new running because they came from the Tea Party movement.
Has no one given consideration that the Democrats are prime to start running as Republicans coming from the Tea Party movement but using it as a cover? Get elected and switch to Dem or vote with the Dems. Rahm Emanual and Axelrod will do anything to keep control.
If you have extra money to donate be very careful what group you give. If they were not fighting the Democrats in 2008, you probably should not give. A lot of groups are trying to use the Tea Party name to get donations.
My advice is to give direct to candidates who know how they need to spend the money. If a PAC has a lot of expenses and gives little to or uses on behalf of candidates, avoid that PAC as you are wasting your money.
Your assessment of Miss Nightingale appears to have been on the mark.
If this is true she is toast! And she should be.
Yeah... the Paul-bots are “IN” on the idea that Bush and our government had something to do with the 9/11 attacks...
Heck I went to some political meeting in Tulsa that I thought was some “conservative” meeting — and “lo and behold” — I find that I’m in the midst of a bunch of “Paul-bots” and they’re handing out material showing that Bush was complicit in the 9/11 attacks.
I mean, with Paul-bots, who needs liberals? LOL...
You are correct...some discernment would be nice. Look at all the people that were climbing all over Beck’s case yesterday because they thought this interview with Medina was another sign that Glenn was pushing the ‘third party’ movement. How’s that crow tasting?
“Ooh I love to dance a little sidestep, now they see me now they don’t - I’ve come and gone and, ooh I love to sweep around the wide step, cut a little swathe and lead the people on”.
Kudos to “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”
>>That said, I think I would go with Perry despite his wish washy past.<<
Perry once was a democrat...that’s pretty wishy warshy to me.
I don’t trust Hutchison as far as I can throw her.
Let this be a lesson that because someone comes from the Tea Party movement doesn’t mean they are conservative and espouse conservative values.
Anyone can use the Tea Party to cover who they are and this is the perfect example of that.
Please check out the candidates and don’t be influenced by the words “Tea Party” because the Dems are going to use it to their advantage.
There is a Dem in OK who became Indy to run against Boren because she doesn’t like Obama but she liked Hillary. People better run from any former that liked Hillary as well. They are saying what that think Conservatives want to hear.
Maybe the next time people will take a closer look before jumping on board someone new running because they came from the Tea Party movement.
Yeah... And even though the Tea Party movement has very good ideas and I support them, they do "also" seem to attract a few whackos in the mix, too.
And so, one has to be a bit careful there... :-)
Anecdotal of course, but I have never met a paulbot that wasn’t a truther.
I’m not at all surprised.
If this latest truther thing did indeed happen on Becks program......Shez done.

You’re right — SHE IS DONE.
Well spoken! Several “Hope and Change” people on FR who don’t like Perry and didn’t take time to do their homework. He certainly is not the end all and be all but we certainly know what we can expect, unlike Medina.
Let this be a lesson that because someone comes from the Tea Party movement doesnt mean they are conservative and espouse conservative values.

Amen to that... let it be spread far and wide, for Tea Party people to beware... keep your eyes open and your ears listening...
Medina's problem today isn't the November General Election but rather the GOP Primary.
I'd say that about sums it up. With the caveat that they are both better than White. But not by much.
As I said, all she said was that it wasn't important to the Texas election.
The only thing that came out of that interview that is noteworthy is that Beck has now shown his true colors.
I suppose it just goes to show you that sometimes the devil you know is preferable to the devil you don’t. Perry’s got his shortcomings ... and we’re quite aware of them. Medina’s shortcomings are apparently more ambiguous ... and possibly significantly crazier.

For whatever it's worth (from me...) -- let me also confirm that anecdotally :-)
