Who listened to Debra Medina on Beck and came away disgusted. She basically admitted that she is a 911 Truther.

Her run has ended

Damn, Dude!!

You just got zotted in mid question. Just because you posted one of the crazier rants in recent history, and that's saying a lot around here. I'm sure you're right about Glenn Beck being an elite lackey for foreign interests, though.

IATZ

Sorry, I am just not buying it. You say Glenn is in love with Perry. No way. He (IMO) just see’s Perry as Texas’s best choice. Just like most of us here. Does that mean that Glenn did not want a someone who closely mirrors all that he speaks about on his shows? (Something that Perry is Not)

I could think of a dozen reasons not to vote for Perry, and I would have loved it if Medina had given me some reasons to vote for her. She didn’t.

She pratically lost my vote when Glenn had to ask her twice: “who are you?”

As for the truther question, there was only one answer: NO! Nothing else works, not even a ....um....uh....no.

Ridiculous. Beck is not in the tank for Perry or any other candidate. He did what the people of the tea parties and a lot of people in TX did not do - asked relevant questions of a candidate.

Rumor: Glenn Beck sets Debra Medina up
Staff | Feb 11, 2010 | 3 comments

There are rumors circulating around the internet that Glenn Beck and crew have set Debra Medina up, and that this has been their intention from the get go (and that this may have had something to do with Texas State Senator and Radio show host Dan Patrick, who supports Rick Perry, whom Beck knew from his Houston days).

Today, Glenn Beck interviewed Debra Medina, but prior to this though, Glenn Beck stated that he and Perry were on amicable terms, and went into detail about this. One of the first questions that he had asked Medina was can you tell us about yourself, to which Medina gave a quick run down and summary of her life story.

Glenn Beck then again asked the same question, can you tell us about yourself, too which Medina gave a more detailed answer. After which Medina began to go into private property rights and some of her campaign platform (without being asked by Glenn Beck) but immediately thereafter, Glenn Beck threw in a wild card and stated that he supposedly had been receiving e-mails that Medina was a 9/11 Truther. Medina baffled by this question, stumbled, and gave the response that she does not police the thoughts of others. After the interview and the hard commercial break, Glenn Beck went into a wild tangent about 9/11 truthers, and then promoted that on his afternoon TV show that later this afternoon, he’d would be exposing a Marxist Europe.

As recently as last week, Pat Gray from the Glenn Beck show had this e-mail conversation with a Medina supporter.

1st EMAIL I SENT TO PAT GRAY:

From: Jeff Neely
Sent: Wednesday, February 03, 2010 2:05 PM
To: Gray, Pat
Subject: Please Listen To Me

Debra Medina is the real deal. Please promote her as the best candidate for Texas Governor. She is a real American and what starts in Texas can change the country. At least call her and give her a chance. I didn’t give her the time of day, then I listened and was BLOWN away! She got my vote and my family is VERY closely tied to Hutchinson…

Come on – it is obvious Medina doesn’t have any “big money” talking in her ear. By that virtue alone she beats all the others out. Anyone that follows politics knows that money is what is ruining our country. Doesn’t it make sense to value someone with character? Bringing character back into our society is the only way we will survive.

Call me, quote me, whatever – just do what is right. Our country is being sold to whoever can put out the best advertising… and money follows the candidates that are controllable.

2nd EMAIL – RESPONSE FROM PAT GRAY

OK…this is SOOOO irritating. Who sicked Debra MEDINA ON ME?!?!?! Come ON! Why do I deserve this concerted campaign, Jeff? Don’t tell me this is spontaneous, because I KNOW it isn’t.

Did her people put out some flash or something? Seriously, we’re working, like 16 hours a day trying to save the Republic…and I have to put up with THIS? For a candidate with 16% support no less?!?!?!

A Medina campaign staffer had this to say on Facebook: “Press release is on the way folks! Basically says that she isn’t now and has never been a 9/11 truther. She will never stifle questioning citizens, however.”

Interestingly, Medina’s official Facebook page is still increasing in numbers.

Feb. 11, 2010 @ 10:07 am, prior to the interview
Perry – 22,118
Medina – 17,250
Hutchison – 14,727

Feb. 11, 2010 @ 11:58 am, after the interview
P- 22,156 +38
M- 17,300 +50
H- 14,728 +1

Even though Medina got punked, Glenn Beck has had his fair share of times being punked:

He did ask relevant (and not unfair) questions and he has admitted he’s in the tank for Perry.

"Yes we can question whether our government did everything in their power to stop 9/11, those are valid questions.

But it’s a whole other kettle of fish to suggest that our government was complicit in the attacks."

BINGO.

On the other hand it would be possible to assign some responsibility because of ignoring intelligence, setting up the Gorelick wall between the FBI & CIA, not checking on any terrorists who had overstayed their visas and teaching the general public to be compliant in a hijacking instead of fighting immediately with any improvised weapon around like happened on Flight 93.

This. Whatever happened to that Able Danger investigation anyway?

A missile didn't hit the Pentagon. The planes were not under remote control. The buildings were NOT blown up with explosives/thermite/thermate.

But the FedGov still has a LOT to answer for. Possibly up to and including certain elements of the FedGov allowing the plot to take place to help grow their control over us.

The question was.... Do you believe that the Government was any way involved in the 911 attack?

The answer is either Yes or No.

The question was NOT.... Was the Government involved in the 911 attacks?

Totally different premise. I cannot TRUTHFULLY say they were not, because I simply do not know. BUT I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT I 100% BELIEVE THEY WERE NOT

Medina believes in private property and gun ownership rights.
Medina believes in Texas Sovereignty.
Medina believes in securing the border.
Medina believes in smaller government and limited spending.
Medina believes in the Constitution.
Medina believes in our 1st amendment and 2nd amendment and 10th amendment strongly.
Medina believes in the sanctity of life - she’s pro life.
Medina is not a career politician.

Perry believes its ok to mandate vaccines to your daughters.
Perry believes its ok to sell Texas roadways to foreign countries.
Perry believes in the good ole boys.
Perry believes in giving foreigners the same in state tuition as Texans.
Perry believes in Perry and is a career politician.

Hutchinson believes in and voted for all of the bailouts.
Hutchinson believes in big government and big spending.
Hutchinson believes in illegals getting amnesty & is soft on border security.
Hutchinson believes in pro abortion rights.
Hutchinson is a huge RINO and a career politician.

Until she comes out and confirms she's IN FACT a Truther HERSELF, Perry's and Hutchison history and Voting Record speaks LOUDER than any 10-minute interview with Glenn ...

... of which GLENN'S STAFF said required further clarification from Medina before condemning her for being a Truther herself.

You OTOH have the giddiness of Romney in 2012 supporter ...

Au contraire, mon ami! LOL...

You obviously haven't read my ample posts against Romney and the Romney-bots here on Free Republic.

I'm definitely not a supporter of Romney and not one of those Rommey-bots! :-)

I am a Sarah Palin supporter, though.

What worries me now is that once the MSM gets their arms around this, they’ll use it like a boat anchor around the neck of the entire tea party movement, and especially Sarah Palin’s involvement with the tea party. Bank on it.

Nonsense, it indicates the tea party will check up on you and remove you from the slate if you are a nutjob or lie about what you are and what you believe. It's a plus for the teas.

A sane liberal Republican can be coerced by the people to pass Conservative legislation, if only for their own good. Hell, Bill Clinton even did that.

An insane Conservative might do anything for any reason, or no reason.

When all your choices aren’t perfect, who would you rather deal with?
