Sorry to be a wet blanket, but someone has to do it.
The Miss Me Yet? billboard (inspired by Jonathan Maneys t-shirts) is cute. But lets not get carried away with nostalgia.
President Bush put America on the proper war footing after 9/11 and deserves much credit for doing so, but he also:
1) joined with open-borders progressives McCain and Kennedy to try to force shamnesty down our throats;
2) massively expanded the federal role in education;
3) championed the Medicare prescription drug entitlement using phony math;
4) kowtowed to the jihadi-enabling Saudis;
5) stocked DHS with incompetents and cronies;
6) pushed Hillarycare for housing;
7) enabled turncoat Arlen Specter;
8. nominated crony Harriet Myers to the Supreme Court;
9) pre-socialized the economy for Obama by embracing TARP, the auto bailouts, the AIG bailout, and in his own words:
Ive abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system. George W. Bush
No, I dont miss having a corporate socialist Republican in the White House any more than I like having a corporate socialist Democrat in the White House now.
I know what you mean.
This winter has a good one and a strange one:
0” in November;
14” in December;
50” in January; and
10” in February.
74” total as of today.
As opposed to folks insinuating that I'm a troll?
There is not one post in all my years here defending anything that was not conservative.
Are you suggesting that Bush was in fact a conservative?
Also me to add another horrible tragedy to Bush's list of failures: Bush caved into the narco-terrorist Clinton loving Albanian Muslims in Kosovo-— backstabbing the Serbian people - our allies in two world wars.
I've never thought you were a troll, rabs. Ill-informed, badly advised, weak and needy and easily pulled around by the nose, but never a troll.
You're a conservative kid with a lot to learn. I hope you're open enough to the advice of older, wiser conservatives to learn and grow
Are you suggesting that Bush was in fact a conservative?
Wow. For a college grad, you sure have a reading comprehension issue. I gave a long list of things for which I have supported President Bush, all of which are consistent with my strong, unflagging conservatism.
I have never defended any issue that was not conservative. And btw, I'm glad you didn't waste your time trying to look up incriminating posts. It would have been such an incredible waste of your time. I have never said that I agree with President Bush on every issue (I didn't agree with everything Reagan did either. No biggie. They were Presidents. I have the freedom to play with ideas and not have to put anything to the test).
Now that you are out of school, what do you plan to do next? More school? Career? Politics?
ONE MORE Big one to add to the list:
El Bush treated our border heroes Compean and Ramos shabbily.
He waited until the last minute to pardon them. What an El Creepo.
Make a list that compares the two's positions on issues...it is undeniable.
That is one reason I am such a fan of GWB, and why I flatly reject someone idolizing Reagan while trashing GWB.
They are either misinformed, or are just lying.
LOL...because you hit the zot threads, don't make you a VK.
Anyway, I believe you'll get your zot one of these days when people realize your main goal here.......demoralize conservatives and Republicans and help keep Dems in office.
RE :”El Bush treated our border heroes Compean and Ramos shabbily.’
You get a star! That was a bitter pill.
I have serious disagreements with GOP_lady on government policies (and vice versa) BUT she found my weakness. She is polite and respectful and posts her arguments about the specific issues and positions she takes.
I went out to shove some snow at dusk while the snow is still falling and blowing (it is really pretty out there) and came back and this thread is still burning even while the storm is moving on. I think this is the most popular thread I ever posted. I think it is because it is Michelle that wrote it. Or maybe the snowstorm LOL
Thanks to the one that sent it to me !
“I think this is the most popular thread I ever posted. “

512! :-)
Wow, this thread is even more popular than our Michelle Fashion Police threads! ;-)
Of course. I'm demoralizing some Republicans by attacking CINOs/RINOs (Graham, Crist, Kirk, Schwarzenegger, Snowe, Collins, and especially McCain, to name a few) and cheering on conservatarians like DeMint, McClintock, and Paul (both of them) because not all Republicans ARE conservatarians at all.
Come to think about it: when the rubber meets the road, most Republicans are downright statist and just as statist as the Democrats.
So, if I get the zot for standing my ground and not just giving it up for the RINOs like a drunken prom date, then I shall wear that zot like a badge of honor.

That is Michelle Malkin talking. She also left out a few things - like the people Bush had as advisers - Christie Whitman,for instance, also Bush’s shameless pandering to the corrupt government in Mexico, his persecution of American border guards defending us, his failure to do anything about the trade imbalance with Red China, his rampant globalism & trans nationalism, his opposition to English as an official U.S. language, his scheme to have an ARAB nation control our ports, his insistence that Islam was a “peaceful” religion, and tardiness in lifting the Presidential ban on North Slope oil drilling set up by his father in the midst of an energy crisis.
I hardly think that Reagan was culpable of HALF the idiotic policy decisions of this man and his administration.
The ULTIMATE proof was Reagan was succeeded by a Republican, Bush I. If his regime was as tainted as that of Bush II, that would never have happened.
AND, if I am not incorrect, Reagan had to deal with a hostile Democrat Congress for a good part of his presidency.
Bush II started out with a Republican Controlled Congress and lost it because of his idiotic policy decisions.
And FINALLY, Reagan was a great communicator with the common touch, he WAS America. Bush II could barely frame a coherent paragraph and was more representative of the elitist Yankee liberal class which spawned his father, than the face of middle America.
The media was no less hostile to Ronald Reagan and the people loved him.
Whenever I see that pompous blowhard Narcissistic Marxist Muslim sitting behind a Presidential Podium - behind him I see two men - Bush II and John McCain who helped put him there.

That's why you need to mature. And you need to hang around with more mature people.......and nicer ones.
You have potential to be a good conservative. I hope you make it there some day.
What do I conclude from that bizarre response? I have several choices, and none of them involve sanity......
Please, do not offend what I deem worthy, or mock what I hold dear, Ms. Ohio Bush Fan. It is Ms., is it not?
(A better option than being sober and being so mentally garbled though.......)
