I have serious disagreements with GOP_lady on government policies (and vice versa) BUT she found my weakness. She is polite and respectful and posts her arguments about the specific issues and positions she takes.

You know, sick, there would probably be a lot more people who would be "polite and respectful" to you if you didn't lie incessantly about them, and if you didn't keep it up for months on end.

That lying stuff kind of gets in the way of a budding friendship. You know what I mean?

Disagreement is fine; Socratic method of dialogue - Candor, intelligence, and Good Will wins out every time. Just hate seeing folks who should be allies duking it out...
