NPR host Mark Memmot is holding an online poll about Sarah Palin and Hand-Gate versus Obama's reliance on TelePrompTers.
The poll is open until 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Wait till they get a load of her latest note written on her hand.
Gotta say, Sarah should at least have had 3x5 cards for her notes - not her hands. That only gave them ammunition against her.
But MOST speakers use notes.

This is getting silly. People use notes when they speak in public. A teleprompter gives you an entire speech to recite. Which is fine, as long as people know that’s what you’re doing, reciting a speech you may or may not have written. Having a few notes to remind you what you want to be sure and hit is a different thing. I used notes when I taught, so I didn’t forget to cover something important. I also used them when I taught aerobics, in case I forgot a routine. So what?
It’s now at 15% Sarah, 65% Obama.

This is what they want to make an issue out of, after her speech? Really? I would think most people can distinguish between a few words/key points on a hand and a programmed teleprompter. As I’ve said before, there are Hollywood films that are less scripted than 0.

Who would dignify this bullstuff with bothering to respond?

That’s right. It also shows a man with no convictions. If he had any he would NOT stammer when without a teleprompter. Someone with real beliefs right or wrong does not as a rule (perhaps if with known speech impediment, but Obama hasn’t such) stammer for the words to express them. Those convictions simply flow from ones soul.
