A lot of them are Democrats pulling GOP ballots.

If Proft and Brady voters went for Adam, this could be a good race. I hope the Polish neighborhoods of Chicago haven’t been counted yet.

National Review has done a thorough job of analyzing the Kirk record. He is wrong on cap and trade but otherwise good on all fiscal issues and national security issues.

So we end up with the most liberal Republican in the Senate. How is electing another Lincoln chafee a good thing?

He doesn’t need a majority of them, just more than a Republican usually gets.

the ballot reader asked (electronically) whether I approved or disapproved of the under-voting. We're not that high tech here in Tazewell county.

Suit yourself. I will follow the Reagan doctrine - want to be a majority party. I’ll gladly take someone who agrees with me 70 percent of the time over someone who agrees with me zero percent of the time.

A big spender with tons of earmarks with f grade on the second ammendment, 100% rating from pro abortion groups and homosexuals. He is a liberal we don’t need more liberals. We are going to run a third party candidate and fix Kirk.

“If just 50% of Proft and Brady voters could have been moved to an acceptable Conservative alternative, a Conservative would be winning right now.”
And by that reasoning, if enough Adam and Brady voters had moved to an acceptable Conservative alternative, Proft would be winning.
If the Adam, Brady and Proft voters are a higher percentage than the winner, that sends a message. Next time, we all need to get behind a single candidate.

Kirk’s ACU scores indicate he doesn’t even agree with us 50% of the time.

This is one conservative Illinoisan who voted for Peter Hughes today, who will NOT vote for McKenna in the general should he win today. Get that?
