He didn't want to upstage his successor in the governor's mansion nor his brother in the White House. Instead, he quietly cashed in by joining corporate boards and an elite speakers bureau, penned policy essays and gave infrequent interviews to conservative media.
But in recent months, as the Republican Party of Florida has grappled with a leadership vacuum, Bush's political profile has grown as fast as the national deficit ...

What is it with this family, they think they're the Kennedys? First "Read My Lips" followed by "Mission Accomplished" and now "Terry Shiavo" wants a piece of the American pie. I hate to agree with Jesse Jackson but STAY OUT OF THE BUSHES!

... followed by "Mission Accomplished" ... Now, I've always thought you were better informed than to fall for the media lies about the "Mission Accomplished" banner.

No more Bushes - ever.
I just don’t care if he is the most conservative of them.
Our country’s cosnervative values has been served up for slicing up by this family of disaster.
Another Reagan would be fine or a Thatcher if there was one born in this country, but NO MORE BUSHES.
To: jpl
Right. Two Bushes were more than enough. We don’t need another RINO in the pack to muddy up the waters.

Agreed - thanks but no thanks.

I was not a fan of Bush I. I like George Bush,II. From what I have read over the years I think I would like his brother even more. I see no one in the Republican field that would do as good a job has Jeb.
That said, he has no chance.
