President Obama finally listened to the outcry of New York, and is considering moving the trial of 9/11 terrorist Khalid Sheik Mohammed and other al Qaeda members out of the city, perhaps to Guantanamo Bay.
Finally, some wisdom.
It would be better there. It's military. They're not going to mess around. These dangerous terrorists will not be allowed to spread their hate, or hurt anyone else.
Nobody knows better than me.
I was a federal prison guard at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan. In 2000, I was with a prisoner, Mamdouh Mahmud Salim, taking him back to his cell. His cellmate was Khalfan Khamis Mohamed. They were accused of bombing two embassies in Africa in 1998. Later they said that they worked with Osama bin Laden and that they helped set up al Qaeda.

i don’t understand how Pepe was in that cell for an hour when the lawyer Adler saw the incident, does this mean Adler did nothing???
This guy needs to do the talk show circuit. People would be outraged - and rightfully so...
The American people can’t afford to be naive like Obama.
The public needs a Louis Pepe advert to run explaining why a military trial is necessary at GITMO. Interview Louis Pepe on the networks.
I have an old news story about Louis Pepe and Sen Schumer that I will try to find and post.

God, help Louis save our Country. He has already sacrificed his life for it. Let him be our only hero and victim. We do not need more of him.
This story should be sent to every town official who is considering the bribe of $200 mil to host the trial in their town. Newburgh first.
obama is not naive. He knows exactly what is happening. This was planned from day one after he assumed power.
It is those who worship him that are deceived, not obama.
ditto
I don't know how things work when visiting a federal prison. I'm just guessing.

These guys aren’t just some street punks, but hardened killers trained in terrorism and who aren’t afraid to die. The thought of giving them trials in New York is bad enough, but consider housing them in the heartland of America in a rinky-dink prison bought from the State of Illinois in a scam deal with SEIU members as guards. I would expect at least a riot with many staff hurt or killed or God forbid a prison break where these killers would roam the countryside in a killing rampage. Consider the amount of help they could get for a prison break from sympathetic mosques and al Qaeda sleeper cells within the USA. Gitmo is where they should stay until they are tried and executed or simply rot away.

Government Says Attack on Guard Was Part of Escape PlanClick here for links to other stories.
By BENJAMIN WEISERThe government charged yesterday that two defendants in the embassy bombings case stabbed and critically injured a jail guard last month as part of an elaborate plot to take defense lawyers hostage to get themselves and possibly other prisoners freed.
As part of the plot, prosecutors said, a surveillance camera in the cell of one of the defendants, Mamdouh Mahmud Salim, and his cellmate was blocked. An electrical junction box was tampered with outside the cell, on 10 South, the high-security wing of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan where they were confined.
''We have captured the tenth flr. in the MCC and we have several lawyers and officials,'' said a note found in Mr. Salim's cell, according to an indictment against Mr. Salim returned by a federal grand jury in Manhattan.

I have heard both Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin discuss it a few times over the last few years. I didn’t really know about it until just a couple of years ago.
