President Barack Obama hosted a pair of Bushes this morning in the Oval Office: former President George H.W. Bush and his son, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
Two weeks ago, Jeb's brother, former President George W. Bush, was at the White House talking about Haiti relief with Obama and ex-President Bill Clinton.

The problem is that America doesn't seem like it is willing to put up with eight years of Obama, understandable. I believe the Bushes, Jeb and George H.W. were there to evaluate the probability of Obama's re-election in 2012 along with steps they need to take to ensure it.
I don't think there's any other reason in the world for the two Bush men to go out in snowy roads, or for Obama to spend a half hour with them. The roads are pretty bad in DC today. It's in the low 20s and the salt isn't doing much.
There's no way Jeb Bush gets the GOP nomination in 2012. So, if Jeb is ever to be President -- do not doubt that that's what the entire Bush familiy is working towards and the only thing they care about -- Obama has to be re-elected.
Cue spooky music
I don’t see Jeb ever making the presidency.
Interesting theory you have there.
No more Bush’s or Clintons!
Good grief. That is as irrational a post as I’ve ever seen on FR, and that’s saying something.
Obama is a disaster. As far as I’m concerned, any good sense the Bushes can expose him to is a welcome sign.
I can’t stand the “everybody is evil but me” attitude of a vocal few here on FR.
The Bushes are good people. I don’t care if you disagree with them politically, but your comments just make you sound stupid.
George P. has to get his foot in the door pretty soon to make his great uncle proud.
A family of poor elected leaders. imo I’ll never vote for another Bush.
They’re responsible for nearly 1/2 our national debt!! Think about that (and don’t absolve them by saying it’s up to Congress).
Probably good faith on the part of the Bushs for some BS premise put forth by Obama. As usual, the Bushs will probably fall for it....
If they can’t even tell us what the meeting was about, assume it was something fishy or “bipartisan.”
Waaait one second. How do we know you weren’t in the meeting as well? You sound like you may be part of the master plan.
Do you stay up inventing these things? You’re going to need Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap if you hope to get any sleep at night. ;>)
obama probably whining for help from them to “save his presidency” by making those mean ol’ republicans stop “playing politics” and just hop on the train to collectivism
One party rule- gotta love it if you’re a despot. And it would work here if only the other party would cooperate .....
The Bushes are good people.
******
SO WHAT?
So are some of my friends; but I don’t want them running the country.
;-D
Do I hear Twilight Zone music? X-Files? doo-doo-doo-doo . . .
Dittos.
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer???
Photo op for Obama to sell his reaching across the aisle BS. Nothing more, nothing less.
There is no way in Hell jeb gets the nod.
You left one name out. Obama.
If he would have rescued Terri Schiavo from the evil ghouls down there in Fl. he would have been seen a gutsy hero and been high on the list.
