Iggy Lena and Bob Kutnick knew it was a good idea open a medically themed sports bar with unfashionable menu items, such as Chili Chest Pain Fries and The Heart Stopper, a three-pound burger.
Decorate with a heart defibrillator and sharps containers. Make the tables look like wheelchairs, put salt and pepper in pill bottles and present the bill in a plastic first-aid kit.
The result is their 6-week-old Heart Stoppers Sports Grill in Delray Beach, where the menu warns that "consumption of our food will definitely lead to obesity" and there is a standing offer of free food to anyone over 350 pounds.

It’s a stupid idea but in a truly free market economy they should be allowed to open, operate and succeed or fail on their own merit. How a restaurant in south Florida can be a threat to, or interfere with, a restaurant in Arizona is something I can’t understand.

Alice Cooper, too, has a restaurant in Arizona. The restaurant in south Florida could name a meal after Cooper's song “Poison.” Then, for dessert, have a nurse administer proper aid.

In my mind, we are just as well known as McDonald's."It's all in his mind as most folks have never heard of him or his burgers.

"Looks like a rip off of the Heart Attack Grill in Arizona."
Damn, you need to notify the Sun-Sentinal right away.
You would think a decent journalist woulda included that in the article.

It is a rip off of the other grill in the same way Denneys is a rip off of Village Inn..... I hope that was sarcasm. Dennys has been around since 1953. As Village Inn wasn't started until 1958, it's kinda hard to claim Dennys is the copycat.

Anthony Bourdain was at Alice’s restaurant (sorry, it was just there) and tasted the foot-long dog named “The Big Unit.”

I had eaten there the first week they had its soft opening ... it's in a strip mall off Litton Ave
Lots of food and it's nice to see nice people who don't take themselves too seriously
