"All the rest of it is BS. Since they weren't armed I doubt there's any real crime here that can be made to stick."

Several things, first you don't have to be "armed" to be guilty of interfering or tampering with government equipment. Second, to be guilty of a crime - especially an attempted crime - the state doesn't have to prove that you would have been successful had you not been caught. Your competency as a criminal is completely irrelevant with respect to you actually attempting to commit a crime.

And lastly, it is a federal crime to attempt to gain unauthorized access to secured areas. That, in and of itself is a crime.

If this is true I just can’t believe the how stupid of an act this would be. If they did this as charged everyone should get the max. At times our side acts so stupid all I can do is shake my head in disbelief.

The one guy’s father is a federal prosecutor? Curiouser and curiouser.

He admits to being there with the others.

They are all dressed up as phone repairmen and carrying tools in a secure building.

Maybe, just maybe they were doing their own sting on the lax security in the building.

This kid is smart enough to know the law and also know to keep quiet when being questioned by any law enforcement officer. As a “journalist” he is offered more protections than you and I.

Sounds like he snookered some more people and the MSM is doing typical knee jerk stuff again.

“Not all of the FBI, just the “eager beavers” looking to score points with the politicians in the bureau, and there are a LOT of them.”

I’m sure there are still many good ones

Somebody was building turf. The Marshalls got the courts; the GSA guards got the front door and internal areas; the FBI does the reading and writing.

There may well have been other federal police agencies available ~ wait 'til they find out somebody else got the first and second shots.

Maryland's laws are different than in the rest of the country. When Nancy Pelosi's father was mayor of Baltimore the Democrats rewrote things so he didn't have to go to jail all the time.

Honest people don't have a chance over there.

Could O’Keefe be that stupid, or is this some sort of frame up?
. Maybe O'keefe was dragged to Mary Landrieu's office while unconscious, not without first dressing him like a phone company worker without him noticing.

Hey I have a great idea: Let’s take the government’s word for what happened!

Why? I take it you trust the Government, right. Sorry, but these corrupt lying bastar@s cannot be trusted. Our jails are full of circumstantial evidence which most of the time is wrong.

If this is true, it was very stupid.

You don’t defraud, no matter what the reason.

NBC learned that lesson in a very expensive way with their infamous Food Lion undercover video.

Item 10 is an admission of entering the building under false pretenses. It is not an admission of the intent to interfere with the phone system.

“sigh. However it is interesting that wow all of a sudden his name is all over the place, unlike the previous stories he was involved in.”

That right there is what’s not right. We’d all be fine if O’Keefe went down ‘cause he’s an idiot, did wrong, et al...but we know what we’re dealing with in the RAT press, ACORN/COI, Obama admin, and RATS in general, and this double treatment is what is stinky and shocking, as much as anything else.

In any case, O’Keefe seemed to have done a really stupid thing...mebbe he got addicted to the rush of breaking a big story...hmmmph.

That’s not an admission of guilt. He just admitted he filmed them.
