If there were an election for US House of Representatives today, and the only two candidates on the ballot were Democrat Baron Hill and Republican Mike Sodrel, who would you vote for?
41% Baron Hill (D) 49% Mike Sodrel (R) 10% Undecided
2010 will be the fifth straight time Democratic Congressman Baron Hill has gone head-to-head with Republican former Congressman Mike Sodrel for the opportunity of representing Indianas 9th congressional district. The seat, in the southeast of the state, has changed hands twice. Hill beat Sodrel in 2002 during their first match-up. Sodrel beat Hill in 2004, but lost the seat back to Hill in 2006. Hill successfully defended the seat against Sodrel in 2008.

I was hoping Sodrel would run again...although I no longer live in that district, my in-laws do. Sodrel seems like a good guy.
Or Hill will switch to the GOP. I wonder if we will see a handful of these so called blue dogs try to switch this year?
Barron Hill is an ass.
I think my sister lives in this district.
Vote that POS Evan Bayh out. Baron Hill needs to go.
Put Brad Ellsworth in with them.
Now if the NRA doesn’t step in and endorse Hill again, we’ll be OK. And I’m an NRA Life Member.
Hill is supposedly considering a run for governor after Mitch Daniels’ second term runs out in 2012.

Whqt he needs to do is concentrate on running for Governor and let 2010 take care of itself. That is my advice to him.
Isn’t there some choice video of Baron Hill at a Town Hall?
The very elitist Hill made his opinion of Hoosier Constituents clear this summer. He’s another one who doesn’t understand “It’s the People’s Office, stupid.” Go, Sodrel! We will work and donate $$$$ to get you replacing that worthless wonder Hill.
Hill voted for Obamacare.
I agree - this needs to be the last of Hill. He is a very liberal congressman representing a very conservative district - I have never understood how he is able to manage having political success there.
If Hill and other so called Blue Dogs are hurting, can Ben Chandler and Yamuth be ousted?
*ping*
Hill is not party switch material, he’s too liberal.
Never said (nor implied he was, Impy), I just don’t think Sodrel is the BEST Republican to take him on in twenty-10!..
Before you donate try this gentleman first: www.travishankins.com/ A true conservative, very impressive man. -J. S.
Um, JLS suggested it, I was just pinging you to the post and thread.
Thanks; a little (confused) at first, but then (after I had written that) I figured that is what you meant ;-D; Thank You!
