The World Bids Farewell To Obama
Charles Hawley
Jan. 21, 2010, 9:32 AM
US President Barack Obama suffered a painful defeat in Massachusetts on Tuesday. With mid-term elections looming, it means that Obama will have to fundamentally re-think his political course. German commentators say it is the end of hope.
US President Barack Obama has had a number of difficult weeks during his first year in the White House. Right after he took office, he had to wade through a week full of partisan bickering over his economic stimulus package combined with a tax scandal surrounding Tom Daschle, the man Obama had hoped would lead his health care reform team. Then there was the last week of 2009, when a failed terror attack on a flight inbound for Detroit exposed major flaws in US efforts to identify and stop potential terrorists.
This week, though -- a week when Obama should have been celebrating the first anniversary of his inauguration -- may have been the president's worst yet.

Hey 0b0z0, are you enjoying that Hope and Change from former Kennedy land aka Camelot?!
We, hope that you enjoyed your honeymoon first year as Potus. What happened January 19, 2010 in former Kennedy Land aka Camelot, was just the beginning as we take back our country.
The germans have it wrong. It is now the being of hope.
Au contraire, mon amie............
I do not care what OTHER countries think. Its the United States that is SAVING HAITI...and the United States that ALWAYS is the beacon of light in this dark world. What the people of Mass did....was comparable to the revolution...the people are holding THEIR elected leaders accountable....something CUBA, RUSSIA, CHINA, FRANCE...will not and can not do. God Bless the United States, baby!
“...US President Barack Obama has had a number of difficult weeks during his first year in the White House...”
Maybe it’s time to take another long, tax payer funded vacation.
Obama and the Democrats are like a Kamikazi Pilot in the midst of his final dive. Look Out Below! Pour on the ack ack fire.
Not to worry folks, bammy will just reach into his deep resevoir of practical governing and management experience and change course. Oh yea, he has no experience. Okay, he will turn to his valued advisors who have a deep resevoir of governing and managing. Oh yea, he has no one on his staff that has that experience (they are all from Chicago). Okay, he will reach out to Hillary and Bill for guidance and tap into those white blue collar workers that cling to their religion and guns and all will be well. Oh yea, Hillary and Bill are calculating that now with the Kennedy wing of the party dead, buried and humiliated, the Clinton wing could clean up the party and rebrand it as “competent, experienced, and caring” and sweep Hillary into office. Okay, I have no idea where bammy goes from here. My guess is he will start a war with someone; so far he lost to Fox News and the banks and insurance companies, so who is left?
AWWWW poor barry is faced with real decisions. His media is so upset that he had such a tough year. HEY BARRY, you applied for the job, now man up and do your damn job. The rest of us had a lot tougher year than you kenya boy. We can’t take vacations when things get tough. We have no sympathy for you. Deal with it.
Yay! Let's "hope" for a "change" in 2012.

If Obama were as popular as Europe thinks he is, one GOP Senator wouldn’t be able to derail his whole agenda. True leaders do not require a supermajority to get things done — Ronald Reagan implemented his agenda with the opposing party running both houses.
The widespread appeal of Obama’s liberalism is a myth.

"After all, he still has a majority in Congress -- he could back away from his strategy of bipartisanship..."
Yep, his over the top bi-partisanship really did him in.
Barry, we hardly knew ye.
AMEN!!!
We should be so lucky.
I suspect he’ll just call another “mulligan” and continue with his death plans.
How about a lifetime in Saudi land or Indonesia where he would readily feel at home?
